After searching high and low for the best burrow bed for my pup, I decided on this one. It was a bit more pricey than the others, but certain features helped justify this. For one, you can remove the cover and easily wash it. And for two, the stuffing is in it's own zipper sealed closure, so if you ever need to add stuffing/restuff it, you could. Not that you will ever have to, because DANG is it full of stuffing. (FYI - follow the instructions that come with it for an easy assembly.) I consider it a forever bed because of those two features, therefore justifying the price. I did cut two little slits so I could remove/insert the plastic rod that creates the opening. I also lay a blanket over the top to help keep the outside clean incase he wants to lay on top of it instead. Obviously by the pictures, my pup loves it. We had to show/assist him on how to get inside at first, but he got the hang of it pretty quickly. We wanted this bed so he would stop waking us up multiple times a night to burrow into OUR bed and it has been our savior! My pup is a 55lb (and still growing) Staffordshire Terrier mix and I bought an XL. It is HUGE, but I think any other size would have been too small. He can easily climb in, stand, and situate himself inside and sprawl out. I highly recommend this bed for those pups that like to burrow. It seems very high quality, durable, and easy to maintain. You get what you pay for!

This bed is great! We got the XL and it’s the perfect size for our labs. They could probably both fit if they weren’t fighting over it. They’re comfortable laying on top or inside. They love to burrow. There’s a lot fuzz that will come off the first few weeks. Once it’s broken in it stops shedding. We really enjoy watching them use it. Very entertaining.

I have a large whippet who likes to pull up every blanket on any sofa to get in underneath. He doesn't like to be cold when he sleeps! I ordered the XL thinking he likes to stretch out.
