I won't spoil anything in the book by saying what it's about , but I will say that I have a VIVID idea of what the Coswalds area is like. If what my idea of what the area seems to be from reading this great book, I would 100% visit the area should I ever be able to visit.
The plot is spot on and what I liked a lot was she placed an index of words and phrases I wouldn't know that seem to be commonly used in England. I also see, in the back of the book , that there will be 2 more books coming out related to this book. I honestly can't wait to read the next one.
Miss Kendra Hale has writing a book that normally, I wouldn't read. But, because I read the Reviews, I had to give it a chance and I'm exceptinately pleased that I did.
I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery, suspense and true bonds of a Family.
Again, I can't wait to read the next 2 installments. Kendra Hale, you've got me HOOKED!
The characters are likable and well developed. The two main characters, cousins and best friends, are charming. When evil enters the story , it is brought in with a character so horrendous one wants to defend all from her. Added to all of this is just a touch of magic.
Twists and turns in the plot, the beauty of the setting and season make this an enjoyable light read. I highly recommend it.
