"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Art and Creation of Walt Disney's Classic Animated Film is filled with such detail, from the beginning of production in July 1934 to the completion in December 1937. This beautiful art book is also informative." (Fred Patten, Animation World Network)
"Author J.B. Kaufman spent years researching the film's history, interviewing participants and studying the marvelous archival art that appears in these pages. The result is a work that can be appreciated equally as a piece of film history and as a collectible art book, a joy for anyone who loves film, animation and the magical world that Walt Disney created." (D23, The Official Disney Fan Club)
"The most surprising thing about the catalog, is that if it had been handed to me without any hint that that "main book" (The Fairest One of All: The Making of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) existed, I would have been convinced that this was the best art-book ever about the movie. That "catalog" is 256-page long and must contain about 600 illustrations, at least 30% of which I believe I had never seen before." (Didier Ghez, Disney History blog)

It's beautiful, with lots of rarely-seen (and I've seen a lot of these, concerning Snow White,) photos and drawings, and for the price you can find it for new, here on Amazon...
All I can really say is that if you're reading a review of this, therefore have at least a decently strong inclination to purchase it, do yourself a favor and order it already.
A fantastically rewarding purchase, and I haven't even read through all of the text yet.
This is a fitting testament to the timelessness and mastery that we all miss from Disney, as a whole.
