Review
"Dystopian scifi at its best...a marvellous entry into the genre, and one of Europe's finest comics works." - io9
Similar in tone and setting to Alan Moore's V for Vendetta." - Super Punch
"Like WALKING DEAD, this is apocalypse done right!" - Ain't It Cool
"One of the most celebrated sociopolitical tales in comics." – IGN
“...dark and powerful...the political subtleties and social commentary ride close to the surface, providing the depth and timeless quality...That Terminus not only hails back to this original subject, but also introduces new pressing concerns for the most vulnerable in society, is both welcome and impressive.” - Comics Alliance

This volume starts off exactly where the book “Snowpiercer 2:The Explorers” left off, that’s if you’ve read the third Snowpiercer story “The Crossing” which is the second half of “Snowpiercer 2 :The Explorers”, at least in the edition I have. Yep, let’s get confusing “Snowpiercer 3” is the third book, but the fourth story, and if the second and third stories made it into book form separately as well, well, you know what I mean.
The standard of the drawings remains high, and there is some good use of colour.
So, the train is off the rails, the broadcast music has not led our protagonists to survivors, and we’re off into some fairly familiar but well-executed post-apocalypse imagery and themes. You could look back to “A Boy and His Dog”, “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”, “Mad Max: Fury Road” (but only if you really must, or as a reminder of how the makers there fluffed it big time) and many, many others in book, film and no doubt graphic novel form. But this plots a decent way through, tells a pretty good story quite well, and ends this thread quite effectively, as well as providing a quite neat link to the movie..
However, like Arthur C Clarke’s ending to “Rendezvous with Rama”, “The Ramans do Everything in Threes” (even if ACC said it wasn’t meant that way), we are offered the chance of more (and hope they won’t be as dire as RWR’s follow ons).
