The duo run across an acerbic rather famous artist, Reginald Bryant Burns. Mr. Burns is as pretentious as his moniker. During their encounter at the town's Bakery, Eve is knocked down amidst a tower of cookies...her crime? Trying to get a meeting and look at the Burns Studio with Burns himself for her friend Jill.
This very unlikable artist has a bevy of family, ex's, and hanger-on's. Which one of them are the killer? For certain one is as the now former artist is killed by a donut from the top of the lighthouse.
When Detective Jack Bradford, and another detective come to continuously interview both Eve and Jill the girls decide they need to solve this crime or they will be in jail.
