Each woman's depth of pain is different and there are different degrees that we hurt, but nonetheless, we serve a great God who heals. Nicole has been there, experienced hurt, pain and even betrayal, yet she has used her lessons in life to share with us...... hurting women.
Where ever you find yourself in life, whatever season you are in, So He Hurt You, Now What will minister to you right where you are. I've been reminded once again...... I can make it.
Thanks Nicole for a book that will definitely change the heart of women.

for let's break it down, yes you may feel this way but don't stay in the pain. Pick yourself up and take steps to begin
your process of healing. Sure you can look at what occurred, family and friends may keep asking you how you feel or try
to tell you how you should feel, yet your journey is yours. Nicole lets you know, you are not alone and each day it will get better.
What a wonderful tool written from one sister to another so you don't have to suffer in silence. I commend Nicole for taking
this to another level for women!! KUDOS and Keep on Writing!!! I'm waiting for the next book.
To the ones who continue to blame themselves;
To the ones with low self esteem;
To the ones who still think this is a bad dream;
Live Again--Love Again--Dream Again--BREATHE AGAIN . . ."
These words jumped off the page when I began to read. Oh great, just as I've started counseling again I've stumbled into reviewing a book that is going to tell me how to make my heart hurt less, make my faith in God carry me through the turmoil of repeated trauma at the hands of the man who's sole intention that last weekend of June, 2001 was to see me dead. I'm not sure I can read anything else or listen to any other stories. I know the feelings by heart. I know the psychology by heart. This isn't my first time through counseling and I'm afraid, it won't be my last. So . . . I made a commitment to read and review So He Hurt You, Now What?. I can get through this, no problem.
"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us" (Romans 5:3-5).
"I pray your today is better than your yesterday." This is at the beginning of a number of messages, and before long, I find myself responding to Nicole's prayer for better days. It's so hard when I can't find the words to pray for myself, but someone out there is praying my days get better, every day!
Today was not one of my best days. I thank you for allowing me to make it through in my right mind.
Lord, I won't lie and say this is easy; it is far from easy.Read more ›
