- their eyes glaze over With confusion
- they get excited and say OUTLOUD "OMG I want to do that!"
In each of these instances, from now on, I will be recommending Suzanne's book because it details the ins and outs of what TV and multimedia hosting is and what it takes to be one (in both instances you may actually need to balance trays full of food though!)
Suzanne has a MULTITUDE of experience in this field, which she details in her book with first person inserts. Her easy to read writing style spells out POINT BLANK "how to become a host" and by the end of the book you'll either be giddy with excitement about taking the next steps to become one (Suzanne has outlined what you should do) or have a very clear understanding that NOT ALL HOSTS are HOSTS AT RESTAURANTS!
I've had the pleasure and luxury of working with Suzanne in person as well, and her poise, grace, advice and mentorship is completely unmatched in the hosting realm.
This book is a must.
