- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2016Amidei's short treatise on advocacy suffers from two problems:
1) it generally lacks content
2) a decent portion of the content found, especially as it relates to advocacy in the media, is common sense ... you didn't need to tell the reader that. We already knew.
Those complaints aside, this book has its strengths in terms of instruction and brainstorming.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2017Saw Nancy Amidei give a presentation at University of Washington and she was super inspiring!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2020As far as content, this book is great! I'm pretty upset at how awful the download for Kindle is. My friend bought the print version and also had the same issues. The text comes out misaligned on some pages and some headings are printed out like this: "HeaDInG." I'm also really annoyed at the lack of page numbers in the kindle version. I can't figure out where one chapter ends and the other begins. It's been difficult.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2016Great for the beginner as well as the practicing advocate!
