About the Author
Marsha A. Malcolm is a native of Jamaica, where she works as a copy editor, freelance administrative service provider and part-time educator. A wife and mother, she believes “readers are leaders” and that children who enjoy reading have an automatic advantage in many areas of life. She wrote “So very… Max!” because her son asked her to write him a book, and she was only too happy to comply. She also publishes under the name M. A. Malcolm, and her debut novel, "His Last Hope: A Contemporary Christian Romance" won the Christian Small Publisher Romance 2016 Book of the Year.

This delightful read holds an invaluable life lesson for children…and adults. The moral of this story is that we are to embrace our uniqueness. This book is an excellent way to teach children that being different is not a terrible thing. For conversations concerning individuality, comparisons with others and labeling others, I’m happy to say that this story will provide an easy way to address those questions.
Ahhh! Loved how Momma Milly Mare protected and covered Max with love. It’s a victory all around. Grab a copy of this jewel of a book. Great read!
