This is the first Marsha Collier book I have read. The quality of her writing and the breadth of her expertise are going to send me to her other books very soon.

In the second chapter, Collier states: "As you've probably figured out, I'm a big believer in learning from studying others. I pay attention," she continues, "to quality outreach on all platforms."

Throughout the book, readers will benefit from her extensive analysis of the social media activities of many small and large businesses. Repeatedly, she uses text explanation and vivid graphics to illustrate the lessons she is giving from these companies. You will welcome her willingness to display and discuss her own superlative materials as well.

My brief video review revolves around other sterling contributions Collier offers to help us excel in all phases of the social media.

Am I going to put this book on my shelf? No--I'll keep Social Media Commerce for Dummies close by, as--during the next few months--I implement the strategies that are sure to strengthen my marketing.

I have tried to do some commerce on my own blog and through social networking in the past but to be honest I have not been too successful as of yet. With that in mind I was excited to read this book to see if I could gleam some new ideas and information from this. After reading through this book I have to say that I was impressed by the vast amount of ideas and resources that are shared. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned vet, this book will still give you something. I am looking forward to trying out these ideas for myself to see what I can do with it and I hope to have some positive results in the future!

I'm running a small advertising agency and have dabbled in Social media before. Marsha Collier's book just made me feel like I had so much to learn. But half way though the book I realized how much I knew! Her book taught me in a way that made it easy to understand and gave me the tools to followthrough.

I'd recommend this to anyone with a small business or large, especially if you don't understand the whole social media thing...(which I thought I did).

She also has a pile of other book that I think I should read.

yet another excellent book Marsha! Combines Marsha's passion of social media, customer service and of course, e-commerce. She reminds us that the voice of the customer is critical and she explains how to "hear" "see" and "track" customers AND potential customers, in simple layman's terms.

Must read for ANY business owner - no matter their size/revenue.

This is a great book for anyone, regardless of skill set, title, and/or experience and expertise. It's packed with information that can be used by a novice and even a social media pro with significant experience in social media platforms or online marketing. You can read the book sequentially or by jumping around from chapter to chapter or from topic to topic. It's concise, clear, informative and I really enjoyed reading it and have ordered more copies for friends, clients and peers. Kudos to Marsha Collier - this book cuts through the "noise" level and hype associated social media. It's not esoteric or fluffy - Marsha provides clear actionable marketing activities and initiatives and real world case studies that will help brands and individuals be much more successful leveraging social media platforms for revenue, lead generation and/or social engagement. I give it five stars!!!
