The most comfortable boots I hav ever bought. I am 4'10 and hate flats but also a toddler mom. Need a hint of sexy with very very comfortable. I could walk a mile in these if not more. You can dance to hip hop although they would be a little heavy for a dance class but just saying you could. You can hike in these a flat trail or go to a ranch. Not water proof. More comfortable than my Doc Martens. I ordered a size 6 my foot is normally a 5.5 but I wear partially thick socks. True to size. I will be ordering these in other colors. I feel like a sexy mom tomb raider Angenlina Jolie in these! Recently wore these in London and walked nearly 4 miles. I did have to switch to sneakers around mile 2.5-3 but I got pretty far in them all things considered. Great for rainy days and puddles in Florida. Not sure they are 100 percent water proof. 8.5 Fit as Expected

My normal US size is 8.5. My feet are definitely NOT narrow, but they are NOT super wide. Maybe a hint of wide, so I am very cognizant on finding comfortable shoes.

I read all the reviews to get a good idea of what size to get. Seems like the suggestions were all over the place. So instead, I went into my closet and pull out all my shoes to double check my shoe size (i.e., gym shoes, flats and heels). The majority of my gym shoes and flats are 8.5 US. ALL of my heels are 8.5 US. Based on my personal analysis, I went with my gut and a prayer of intention - I ordered the 8.5 shoe size and it is a perfect fit!

When I first pulled the Soda lace up boots out of the box, they looked narrow and I was concerned it would compress my slightly wide feet on the sides. To my surprise they were NOT narrow - may have been an illusion in the design because I had plenty of foot room.

As an extra precaution, I inserted Metatarsal pads, which helped. I have worn these boots once for 6 hours, which was a combination of sitting, walking, and dancing. At the end of the night my feet did not hurt. So far I am please with my choice.

I LOVE THESE! They are extremely comfortable. I wore them to dinner AND grocery shopping and never had sore feet! The height is perfect also! I didn’t feel like I was towering over everyone as I passed them like I usually do in heels. For reference I am 5’7”. I also love how they still look good with my skinny ass ankles lol i have long chicken legs and have an issue with ankle boots because they make me look silly I never wear heels but I always want to, I bought these because of the heel and I just can’t say enough good about them.

I've gotten compliments on the shoes and the fact the zipper makes it super easy to put on and off since you only have to tie them once! I've worn them for long time (8+hrs) and even with the taller heel, the width of the heel made it easy to walk in. This shoe is not easy to break in. It really holds it's shape. There are pro and cons to that. Pro, it still looks new even after a few wears. Con, the high ankle means that your foot is staying in that position all day. After 3 days of wearing it to work, I unzipped it while sitting at my desk and rolled my ankles in circles since it was starting to hurt. Also, the height and thinner front can cause some pain on your outer toes, but I will say that it was only from walking for long hours. It is MUCH more comfortable than regular heels. So if your sightseeing through the city all day? Opt for other shoes, but if you're only sightseeing for 4> then they can definitely get the job done. I bought them my size (8) so I don't know if buying a bigger size would help that out. Not much cushion, but not much needed since the rubber sole helps with the impact of each step. All around I definitely recommend them.

Go up a half size!!

I'm a size 9.5 normally and Amazon recommended I go with a size 9. Mistake! Should have listened to everyone who advised to go up half a size. I can fit my foot in but it's going to take a while to break in, whereas I feel a 10 would have fit perfectly right off the bat. Otherwise a beautiful shoe, well worth the money. If you're on the fence, just go for it-- just don't forget to size up. ;)

Just received my boots and I'm really pleased with them. I wear a size 7 and that's what I ordered and they are true to size. I have a fairly wide foot, not narrow/slender feet for sure, and yeah they are a but tight but I have not played with the laces yet, and I am sure I can loosen the sides up up a bit. They are the perfect height, not heavy, and seem pretty comfortable. I will keep them becasue I have been wanting lace up ankle boots like this for a while now and so far these are the cutest I have found for the price. (I don't buy leather ever). I have purchased several Soda shoes in the past and I really like them. In fact, many of the Soda shoes have lasted for several years! They are in my opinion a pretty good brand for how inexpensive they are. I am happy and you can't really beat the price.
