These don't hold much food, but they are great for (very) small portions of candy or other treats to throw in your child's lunch. One tube perfectly fits a row of 10 mini-size marshmallows. We also use them for raisins, m&m's, peanuts, and more. The kids really like them and they're easy to open. If you pack a yogurt in your lunch, you can fill one of these with granola or other toppings. They take up no room in the dishwasher or you can clean them with a small bottle brush. We don't wash them after every use because we only put dry foods in them. Saves on plastic baggies and takes less space than other containers.

Since these tubes contain all the plastic for an entire 2L bottle in a much smaller space, they are very hard. They will not bend or squish if you squeeze them. If you lose the caps, you can replace them with any other standard bottle cap.

Like several reviewers, I purchased these to store brewing yeast. The preforms exceeded my expectations. The vial are a thick plastic with a lid similar to a soda bottle cap. They are 5.5" long and 1" wide. Because of my intended use, I tested the caps for 4 hours checking for leaks. Everything stayed in the vial. I see many additional uses and will recommend this product to my friends and family.

I bought these and have used some of these for Geocaching. I called them BTS4FTF (break the seal 4 first to find caches). One thing, don't put the cap on until you have everything inside, or you will have to break the seal before you even get to place it. I also used some of these to put spices in in my travel trailer.

Using this product to collect yeast for different beer types to use in my brews. Mix it with vegetable glycerine and then put in the freezer. Can be stored up to a year. Just pop one out of the freezer, make a starter, throw it on the stir plate let it sit for 24 to 36 hours and then it will be ready to add to your wort.

I purchased these so I could put them in a few of my Survival Kits that I am putting together. They are great, I use them for a small fishing kit, medical kit, sewing repair kit, and more. There are many uses for these things, and the plactic walls are very thick. They can take a beating and still keep all of your little odds and in's from spilling all over the bottom of your pack. I would strongly recommend this product for anyone, and yes, I will be purchasing more of them.
