First of all, I can't find white peppercorns--actual peppercorns--in grocery stores anymore, so thank you, Amazon.

The flavor of this white pepper is subtle, almost as much scent as taste. I have been using it on everything from cottage cheese to steak. I've had white pepper before and thought, what's the big deal? Trust me. Big deal.

I am a Professional Home and Personal Chef and I also teach cooking and knife skills. I take all of my kitchen items, tools, utensils, knives, serving items, other accessories, and food products very seriously. When I test and review culinary items, I am highly critical and meticulous in evaluating and rating them. My reviews are honest and unbiased. Good is good…bad is bad!

I have had a terrible time trying to find white peppercorns anywhere locally. I rely on them to enhance certain foods without having black pepper showing on the surface of some of my lighter creations.

These peppercorns are great. Taste and heat are perfect, and especially when ground in a pestle and mortar by hand.

This is a superb value at the price offered on Amazon, and I will now not go elsewhere when I need the product. This brand will be my standard! It's an easy FIVE STARS from me with an honest recommendation! Bon Appetit!

We used to use white ground pepper at the table, but really like the fresh ground pepper (when we compare the pre-ground to fresh ground in the black pepper type). My better half says there is a funny smell (like wet dog) to the white pepper corn (pre-ground), however I do not detect this. It does have an odor, but my nose does not find it is wet dog, nor does it bother me. The taste is flawless (for both of us) so try not to smell it-just eat it. Maybe that is why the whole pepper is not sold in stores. Yes, we will buy it again, but maybe we'll try a different seller just to see if the smell is the same.

I guess because these were fresh and I trusted something that came from a brand I never heard of and the price was great we ended up getting a good deal just check your freshness check your price because you could get a cheaper at the store
