Soggy Doggy is the showering, shaking, doggy bathing game for kids and the whole family. Players roll the die and move their playing pieces around the game board, taking turns washing Soggy Doggy. But watch out! You never know when he will shake to dry off and you’ll get a little wet! First one around the board and back to the doggy basket wins.


It’s Shower Time for Soggy Doggy The real fun starts when your pet gets wet! If you land on a space with a 'paw' you get to pump water from the shower to wash Soggy Doggy. If you land on a space with a 'faucet' you get to turn the tap to see what happens next.	Who Will Get Wetter—Soggy Doggy or You? When Soggy Doggy gets too wet he needs to dry off. With each turn of the faucet the anticipation builds. Who will cause Soggy Doggy to shake? If it’s you, you’ll get a little wet and have to go back to start.	Care and Cleaning of Your Soggy Doggy When you’re finished playing, Soggy Doggy will be clean and it’s easy for you to clean up too. Empty any water in the bathtub, pat the dog dry with a towel and wipe off the game board. Let everything air dry, and you’re done.

Really not impressed. The dog shakes, but not enough to actually be felt by the players. You're probably thinking, "Great, at least it won't make a mess." Wrong again, it makes a mess, just not the fun kind of mess. It's just not what I think kids will expect it to be.

Probably the most misleading children’s game ever. The advertising for this game is awesome; unfortunately the game is poorly designed with very cheap materials. It doesn’t work very well and my children were really disappointed based on what they saw on tv. Bravo to the marketing team, they did an awesome job disappointing children and scamming parents. The soggy dog shakes but water drops off it’s back/sides. The water doesn’t shake anywhere.

We actually have a real dog. So I am not sure why our daughter insisted on having this game. She can just give our dog a bath or take him out in the rain if she wants to experience a soggy doggy. Anyway, about the game.... the concept is fun but it does not get as much play as other board games. First, it is messy, as you get wet (obviously) and it spills, so you can only play it in the kitchen or somewhere that you don't mind getting wet. Also, when you are done, you can't just put it away, you have to leave it out a while to air dry. So we can't follow our usual plan of putting one game away before getting the next one out..... Overall the game is probably 1 part fun and 3 parts chore. I would say it is on par with Pie Face, which is similarly a messy game of chance, though Soggy Doggy is slightly less messy during the actual game, and Pie Face is easier to clean up and put away. Both are played only occasionally in our home in comparison to more conventional board games.

Might Be Fun For Very Young Children

I bought this game for a 7-year old boy who liked it for all of about 5 minutes. While I appreciated the fact that the water didn't spray all over the place, he did not. He wanted to get wet. Unfortunately, even when sitting as close as he could possibly get to the tub, he was only rewarded with a drop or two of water. While enough water found its way to the playing surface to make the game messy, not enough sprays on players to make it fun. This might be entertaining for very young children or toddlers who might just want to see the doggy shake, but it probably won't enrtain older children, or at least not ones that want to actually get wet.

Purchased this for my 4 year old granddaughter. When she saw the commercial again she tells me that the dog fell apart and mommy lost the game. I asked my daughter about it. She said she had to throw it away. The ears and tail fell off. The plastic was stinky and growing mold. She even tried spraying it with disinfectant & letting it dry in the sun. She said it was just gross. I was pretty disappointed since the kids were so excited to get it. I guess it was a poor design. Another item that looks cute but isn’t worth the price.

Fun family game for younger kids

Very cute game, and easy to play. The whole family enjoys it. My only complaint: my kids are always anxious to get sprayed, and it really barely puts off any water. They just lean into it when it's their turn adn I will give the shower and extra pump or 2 so they can get a sprinkle or 2. I also love that they can play by themselves (they are 5 and 7). We play it on a towel to protect the table, but that really isn't necessary.

Very cute game. Works well and easy to use and clean. People are complaining it didn't "splash" them. However, it is obviously not going to do that. It does however vibrate and mist you with the water in its rubber fur. I found it very fun.
It is worth noting that the vibration from the dog is quite intense. This scared my 5 year old to the point he won't play the game. However, this is a very cute and fun game for the typical child and family!

The game is cute and works fine but they lose interest pretty quick. The only thing is that the dog doesn't stop shaking until you turn the tap again. I assumed it would shake a little bit and then stop so you could continue playing.. so that was a bit odd. There are probably better games
