I have only had this Plusivo Soldering iron kit for just a few days, and have only used it for about an hour.
I can say that even if it stopped working right now, it would have already paid for itself(12$).
I was able to replace a couple of capacitors in a flat screen TV, wire a webcam from a laptop to a USB cable, and replace a headphone jack on two pair of headphones.
I got this because I needed a smaller tip iron for the headphone jack repair.
I will say that one should avoid running the iron at full temp for extended periods with the small tip. I recommend reducing temp until ready to use and reducing temp while idle. The small tip easily becomes deformed, but still functions.
The solder sucker actually works great, I have braid but used the included tool and it performed perfectly.
They include a generous amount of shrink wrap, which I used on the headphones. I think it adds a clean finish.
I guess the only thing missing is some flux, but for the low price I really can't complain. Even without it, the solder included in the kit adhered fine, I am pretty sure it is a hollow core with rosin.
I would definitely recommend this product for convenience and performance.

Powerful sturdy tool!
For those who are beginners like me, this is most perfect. It's best to turn the temp knob between 350-375. Allow the tool to heat up, I gave it roughly 15-25 mins. The tube of solder is that slinky metal stuff that comes in the box, take off lid and unravel about an inch or two and slide it through the lids hole and replace cap. When using the tool, touch the area you want to close off and barely tap the solder to the top of the tool on the area you want closed. Less is more, only use a small amount. If you create a sharp edge just wipe the tools tip over it and smooth it done. This product is awesome, def glad I bought it! There's enough solder to last a long time!!
