I liked the story of their investigation, it was fast paced and gripping although I was horrified at the lack of action by the local police force! The story is told from the perspective of Ellie and also from that of the "bad guy". These segments were particularly menacing, scary and chilling to read, the author really puts you right into the bad guy's mind; you know every thought that runs through his brain. Ellen Brazil runs a missing persons bureau in Worcester and is investigating the disappearance of the wife of a body builder, but as the missing women keep stacking up, she's in a race against time to try and find them alive and well. This is yet another great thriller from Mel Comley - fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat, you won't want to put it down! S Hodge.
I've been a long time M. A. Comley fan since I read my first DI Lorne Simpkins book - Cruel Justice- however, I think Lorne is going to have to move over because Ellen has knocked her out of the water. Once i started this book, I absolutely could not put it down. L. Prather.
