After a couple of weeks using it I can see why.
They propose a simple, no gimmick, product. The problem is that the user interface simply makes no sense.
First, you have to active the GPS on every mode you use it. For instance, if you hold a button for a couple of seconds, it reads "GPS ON" but then you go to Bike mode and it blinks "Indoor", so you have to turn it on again (and every time you go to bike mode).
As an occasional rider, I just want to know my speed and how much I rode. I assumed it would start measuring both automatically and pause when I stop. It doesn't.
You have to go to the Chrono mode, start the chronograph, then go back to Bike mode and start the GPS again.
Given that the GPS seems to turn itself off so often, I assumed that I didn't need to do anything once I was done riding my bike. Wrong again.
The battery completely depleted in about 24 hours. I searched a forum and they said I had to hold the button that turns the GPS on/off for a couple of seconds so it turns itself off. By doing this, now it lasts many days in stand by mode.
And also the manual is almost useless.
How could they make something they claim to be simple so complicated?
They have the chance to solve these issues, and improve the unit, with firmware updates. I asked them and they said they will. I hope it happens.
