The bottom line is that this cable may work great if you have short network runs or longer runs that do not require POE. But I would advise that it is not worth saving $50 on the cable if you risk having to redo several hours of work, especially if you're putting this cable behind drywall. There are a lot of great reviews for this product and it probably works fine in most situations. What I did not realize is that this cable is not solid copper. The wire is CCA or copper clad aluminum, and it may not work well in all situations. I spent three hours installing four runs of this cable throughout a large office and later realized that any length over 50 feet could not support my POE devices (IP phones). After researching it, I found that CCA cable has issues with POE at longer lengths. I wound up purchasing solid copper cabling and replacing all of the CCA cable. I would definitely avoid CCA wire in the future.

"It's OK" are the words that popped up when I chose three stars, and that sums this cable up well. I'm a 15+ year Network Engineer so I don't even wan't to think about how many cables I have made in my life. Sometimes I got to use high end cable to do it on someone else's dime. This is right in the middle. It slips a bit in the shielding when pulled, it can be brittle and break, it doesn't hold shape wonderfully when putting ends on, but it's not terrible for the money. I'll keep it and use it.

This is cheap but usable cable. I moved my network from a far corner downstairs to a central closet upstairs for better wifi broadcasting and ethernet in my home office. I ran two of these cables alongside a stiff coax 70ft and an additional 50ft to a bedroom, all inside the conditioned space of my home using interior walls, raceways and cable staples. Lan speeds of 60 to 112MBps between the NAS and various wired laptops continue to be attained, so no complaints.

Would I wire a house or do runs over 150ft with this cable? No because 1) it's cat5e - the future is 10Gbps+, 2) it's CCA - not as strong or conductive as copper, and 3) it just doesn't feel particularly strong during pulls. But for my needs of relatively short, semi-exposed runs and meager I/O expectations, it works just fine.

I bought this for a side job. the business has server 8 PC's and 5 ip cameras. yes it will kink in the box at this price point they are all going to so this is to be expected however this stuff does much better than other cable I have used at the same basic price. My opinion the sheathing on this is very nice (for the price). if you spend 120 on a 1000 foot box you will get all copper, a noticeable difference in the sheathing and no kinks when pulling from the box. I gave this 5 stars because for the price it is a solid product.

This is great cable for the price. I have had no issues with signal strength, even on some pretty long runs. The sheathing is pretty good as well, I took a chance and used some outdoors, it's been working fine for about 6 months so far. It did get snagged a few times in the box but mostly it was smooth to pull. I had it in the back of a hot car for a while and some of the sheathing towards the outside of the roll melted a bit and got stuck together, so that may be something to consider depending on the environment where you're using this. Overall I was impressed, this compares nicely to more expensive cabling. I've already purchased a second roll.

I have 4 boxes of these and bought 4 more on a different account and 2 of the 8 were spooled so they would kink every 2-3 meters in the box . I checked the box and spoolers. Drove me crazy when im doing 4 pulls at once and the same 2 boxes kept jamming. .
Overall they are good for the price, they are soft so they are easy on the hands when terminating, they are fragile when it comes to using for phone lines if screwing to posts be careful. They are a dream with keystone jacks and rj45 male crimps

I’ve had a few jobs lately where I’ve been in need of networking cable that’s capable of reaching gigabit speeds. I didn’t want to over pay for cable but also didn’t want a cheap product. After reviewing many options this one stood out the most due to price matching nearly all competitors and able to handle gigabit speeds without any issues.

I would highly recommend this product as I’ve done a few installs now with no complaints! The white color is great especially for any room color if you need to paint over or don’t wish for it to stand out. Tested the cable with all wires operating properly, and saved me a few bucks! Why spend more when you can get a product cheaper without performance drops I say.

I made a mistake, I did not do my research and bought whatever seemed cheapest and that's my fault. Also why I didn't return.

This wire is copper aluminium so not solid copper which is what you want if you're going for reliability and speed.

Aluminium does not conduct well so I would stay away from this one.
