If I could give more stars I would. Super easy to use, just fill, pump and spray. THe bottle holds enough water to fully mist my entire indoor (small) garden room with one filling. Lightweight and easy to operate with one hand. I especially love the adjustable sprayer to reach my small starter plants down low. So far, I cannot come up with any drawbacks at all. It's an ideal size for indoor and small outdoor locations to make for one fill, easy spraying. The spray is long and powerful, releasing a lot of mist within a very short period of time. What used to take me 20 minutes to do now takes me about 5 minutes. Extremely pleased with this sprayer!

I bought this particular sprayer primarily for two reasons 1.) it got good reviews 2.) I was familiar with their backpack sprayers in agriculture which are known for their reliability.
I am always skeptical of reviews written by buyers on the same day that they receive their order so I have purposed to never write a review until enough time has passed to really know the product. So here I am a couple of weeks down the road from my purchase of this mister and here are my observations:
Likes - it produces a very fine mist, the nozzle swivels up or down, it holds enough water to not have to be refilling it all the time but not so much that it is too heavy and bulky to use easily, overall it seems to be reasonably well made.

Dislikes - the spray diameter is not adjustable, the pump shaft feels too flexible and makes me think it is too weak to hold up long term.

**EDIT ** I bought this in 2016 and now I am editing this in Dec of 2019 and the sprayer is still going strong. I bought it for house plants, but it works so well for small jobs that I find myself using it outdoors a great deal when I do not want to mess with a big sprayer! So in spite of the slightly flimsy feeling pump shaft it has held up well for over 2 years now!

I am pleased with my purchase and feel that this is a good value compared to what is available here on Amazon.

I purchased one for a10% bleach solution. It started leaking after a couple of months. I ordered another from Amazon. In addition, I ordered replacement gaskets from Solo. Installed them on the defective sprayer. Still leaks, but not as bad.

The replacement sprayer is now leaking. In addition, it will not shut off after spraying. My wife had to unscrew it to relieve the pressure.

I'm not going to buy a third unit. They work great when the work. The problem is they stop working

This is the best sprayer I've ever owned! I have 4 small parrots and they are bathed daily by spray misting water while they perch in the shower. I've owned several different types of sprayers, from little ones that are used by spraying with a trigger to a battery operated one (used batteries way too fast). I switched to this type a couple of sprayers ago, but none compare to THIS sprayer! It's easy to fill, easy to pump up and easy to use. The entire sprayer is excellent quality and more heavy-duty than any other sprayer I've had. The "bottle" part of the sprayer is real heavy-duty plastic, not flexible and wimpy. The clear plastic cone-shaped thing on the end of the spray nozzle can easily be removed if you want. I LOVE this sprayer and highly recommend it!

I purchased one a year ago and it was great for a season... I replaced that one it leaked. This new one has the same water in side for three weeks sitting on a table, used it today, and leaked all over me!

Almost a year later May 24, 2018 went to use for the first time for the session, now it has a suction issue! It will not pump. Took it apart, cleaned and got the chemicals all over me again! Now I am really pissed off. I want to talk to this vendor.

Loved this sprayer up till today when it exploded with a loud bang. My ears are still ringing. I've had it for almost 3 years and used daily to mist plants with plain water. I don't mind things wearing out but don't expect them to go out like this. Glad I just had water in the sprayer and not a harmful chemical as I ended up with a face full. I had just pumped 4X.After this experience, I'm going to opt for another brand, hopefully more durable.

I needed a suitable container for a Petroleum based Rust remover/metal bolt loosener called PB Blaster + I add some ingreadiants to it as taught by the Old Timers (PB Blaster/Trans fluid/Acetone) . Anyone that has used this product knows 2 things 1.) It is the best product on the market 2>)No container can contain it without leaking—even the container they supply with the one gallon can!! Well folks the SOLO 418 has passed the test, it not only contains the PB Blaster/mix but it has ZERO leaks and performs flawlessly. I can set it to mist for a large coverage area or to Stream (which with only a few pumps shoots out 6-8'. As a mechanic that uses this product everyday I needed the best and I needed it to do it's job flawlessly (a lot to ask these days) this product does that ---hands down!

Update: 10-15-17. It's been leaking the PB Blaster through the top plunger orings, I do not fault Solo at all because they are honest in there description about this (Chemical resistant seals for extended use with harsh chemicals) Note: extended not forever! It lasted 2.5 yrs under constant use through outdoor michigan weather with a mix of PB Blaster/Trans fluid/Acetone. Easy enough to remove shaft and use the appropriate orings to reseal or order a new one - whichever you prefer American.

No complaints. It is well-built and works as advertised. I am not using this for plant spraying but wetting down a coal fire so the volumetric capacity, while small, is prefect for my needs. This is, overall, a well-constructed piece of gear. It would only be better if there were some metal parts in the spray mechanism, which I see could be the weakest link in the product. That being said, I suspect that this will last me a long time if I look after it. Worth the money if you are looking for a small sprayer.

Very Happy with this product. Just used it for the first time. I blow through way more solution then I did using a little recycled spider mite spray bottle but I think that is a good thing. I mix up a solution of neem oil,soap and water then this thing just sprays like mad. It even has a little auto on switch I didn't see in the description. It goes between a high pressure fine mist to a steady stream. Well worth the money compared to manually spritzing with a cheapo windex type bottle.

This is a great bottle for my uses but I need a bigger bottle for my uses. Since I use this to pre-soak my car with soap, it uses alot of material and 1L isn't enough.

Sprayer itself is well built, has good variety of spray pattern. Pump feel solid. Bottle is thick walled and doesn't feel like it's not gonna break any time soon.

Excellent pressure for a hand pumped pressure sprayer. Holds pressure well and it has a very convenient lock tab. I release the pressure after I'm done.*helps make the seal last longer.
A regular dollar store sprayer will leak air on me as well as drip water, which is a no no for me in the garden. So this has held up very well so far. And for how much I spent, I'm loving this thing.
Also, those same dollar store sprayers get clogged up after you add your nutrients/additives depending on how concentrated they are and there goes your sprayer. This has yet to clog up on me using the same set ups.
