I was happy with this item for the first weeks. But then a problem. I have a MacBook Air and it only has 2 C connectors. One is used by my backup disk and the other is used for various things, such as charging, and sometimes that is open. So when I am on a site that will use the 2-factor authorization with a security key, I plug it in. But Mac has very tight-fitting connections. My backup disk is always plugged in. So the other day I needed the key and plugged it in. When I took it out, the little part that goes into the connection stayed there and I was left holding the pretty red cover and the larger part that fits into it. I had to use needlenose pliers to get it out. I am using it that way until I notify the seller to see if they will make it good for me. If I had more connections I could leave it plugged in all the time, but am limited by having only the two available. I did reconnect the little part to the larger part, but of course every time I unplug it it is stuck again.
EDIT: the company contacted me immediately and they are sending me a new one. I sent photos to show what had happened. So I have given 5 stars due to the excellent customer service.
Edit: the new key has arrived. Excellent customer service with a great attitude. I'm happy with this company and recommend giving them a chance. the key worked as promised before it broke, and the new one is fine. Thanks to this company and their customer service.
