Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see frequent references to Milton Erikson (prior to reading this book, I had no idea de Shazer was strongly influenced by the genius of Dr. Erikson).
I strongly recommend this book to graduate students in clinical psychology/counseling as well as practicing therapists. I think it could also be used as a self-help book for the average person who does not work in or have any education in psychology.
