From the Back Cover

A DESPERATE SITUATION
Pressures of the celebrity lifestyle weigh heavily on Dayne and Katy Matthews as they take on separate movie projects. Tabloid rumors talk of trouble and unfaithfulness between the two. And then a dramatic cover photo threatens to destroy everything they've worked to build together. Only Dayne knows the truth about the photo, truth that would help Katy believe him. But the truth will also cause devastating damage to the people he loves so dearly-the Baxter family. Dayne must weigh his decision carefully, but at what price?

A HEARTBREAKING LOSS
The Flanigan family recognizes the deep loss of the Christian Kids Theater, and they begin to pray for a miracle-that even without the theater, somehow CKT will go on. Bailey and Connor see their CKT friends fitting in with the wrong crowd and making decisions that will harm them.

A SEASON OF HOPE
John Baxter takes the next step in his relationship with Elaine, giving him a season to contemplate selling the Baxter house-and losing a lifetime of memories. As the rest of the family considers the future, they must pull together like never before. Only their undying love for each other can help them overcome today's trials for a life they know is possible . . . someday.

"A story about God's unending faithfulness and the promise of tomorrow-in life, love, and the legacy of family"

I have read all of the books Karen Kingsbury has written about the Baxter Family. John comes to a decision about his relationship with Elaine. Ashley tries to keep the family happy and together. Katy and Dayne struggle with their seperation. Luke and Reagan try to keep their marriage together. All of other Baxters (and some of the Flannigans) are featured. An excellent book for everyone one, but especially for Kingsbury fans. The story of the Baxters is winding to a close. Karen Kingsbury has made the entire family seem real to us. The only bad news: Only one book remaining for those of us who love the Baxters!

I've figured out something about Karen Kingsbury's storytelling skill. She is a master in foreshadowing. As I read Someday, I fell into that page turning trance that I tend to suffer from when opening one of her novels. With each chapter, I know something is going to happen that will rock the world of the characters and I somehow want to get to them to warn them, help them avoid it, because I've seen what Karen lets happen within the pages of her novels, and I know this isn't going to be good. Okay, yes, on one hand it's great because her characters grow and change...but the process. Aye-Yi-Yi!

Karen Kingsbury writes reality. I have a tendency, when life is really good, to look over my shoulder wondering if something lurks. Kingsbury incorporates that sense of impending upheaval into her books. My oldest daughter can't sit and read Kingsbury. She has to get up and pace on occasion.

If you haven't read her, and you like to be on the emotional edge of your seat....you might want to look into her. Blessedly she adds much hope to her stories and then pours on some grace. Someday is a tense continuation of the Baxter family saga. If you love the characters you will go for quite a ride.

I read a lot of books, and have read everything including most of the classics. Also, loving Karen Kingsbury I read this book with a clear understanding of what the themes were. This book is brilliant - nothing else comes close. The inclusion of religion and how it impacts on the characters lives is sheer brilliance! Highly Recommend!!! I'd also recommend reading K. G. Glaub's novel-- Circe's Song --if you haven't yet!!

This book brought tears, laughter and lots of loving feelings. Everyone who reads these books have their own set of experiences to relate to. I have mine too. I truly loved the Ashley story. Her desire to have her baby for however long she had her was wonderful. I was so glad to see that Elaine won a place in her heart. I wanted to scream a few times over he Dayne and Katy story. She needed to have more confidence in her husband which she said at the end. I wanted them back together the way they belonged. I wondered when it was going to dawn on him to purchase the CKT building. I thought he'd do that in a previous book, but it all had to work out perfectly. I get that. I was thrilled to see that he put off his next movie and the type for a couple years. All in all, it was another wonderful book full of more spiritual awareness than I could take in. I love this series as I loved the Redemption one and the Firstborn one. I'm going to forever feel that the Baxters are close wonderful friends in my family. I just wish I'd stop dreaming about them and what I think should happen...LOL Thank you so much Karen for your books!

Another Baxter family goodie! Someday made the Baxter family even more believable to me. They aren't perfect! This family dealt with many hard issues in this book, ones that happen to real families all the time. Infidelity, trust issues, and life after loss were some of them. The family house caught fire, a sister was moving, and a widowed father gets engaged. It was a rather heart wrenching read, but oh so good.

I have read all but Sunset. I'm reading it now. I can relate to the Baxter family. I lost my mother at an early age to a heart attack. I didn't know how I was going to make it but thanks be to God I did. Now that I'm reading these books they are bringing back so many memories of my mom. I'm crying one minute and laughing the next. Now I'm at a point in Sunset where John Baxter has put his house on the market for sale and all the memories he is having to deal with. Well I put my house on the market and I have begun thinking about all the memories my family and I have shared in it. I can so relate to the characters in these books. I'm so afraid because I love the books so much I don't want the Baxter Family to end. I know they will because Karen said so a couple of books ago. She did say she would keep us in touch with them every now and than, I hope so because I truly love that family. I love these books. What more can I say, I just love them. Thanks Karen Kingsbury for writing so wonderful books and letting your God given talent shine, with God's help you did an awesome job. May God continue to bless you with your writing of good Christian books. God bless you and your family.
