Should be "Someone To Lie Down Beside Me." Lie = Be in a reclining position. Example: "I want to lie beside you." I want to be in a reclining position beside you. Lay = Put down. Example: "Lay the gun on the table." Put the gun down on the table. If Karla remakes the song, maybe she'll use the right word, so grammar freaks like me won't have something to crab about.

There's not really any major difference between this original and the better known cover by Linda Ronstadt. Bonoff's voice is more natural and less affected than Linda's but still, if you like one, you'll like the other.

Seriously? Asking for a review of a song...as in why do you like a song? "Well, it has words...they rhyme! And music goes with the words that rhyme!"

I think Karla may have written this and when I heard Ronstadt sing it, I bought the Karla Bonoff album and played her and Linda over and again.
