"Charming, witty, and fun. There's no better read. I enjoyed every word!"―Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author on No Better Man
"4 1/2 stars! Second in Richardson's Heart of the Rockies series is a delight. Paige's adventurous, independent spirit shines through, and while Ben sometimes verges on too pushy, he needs all that determination to really get past her defenses. "Resist the drawl," she tells herself at one point, but in the end, she can't resist him - and neither will readers. A wide cast of sharp, well-drawn secondary characters adds depth to the story, as does the beautiful landscape."―RT Book Reviews on Something Like Love
"Richardson's debut packs a powerful emotional punch. [Her] deft characterization creates a hero and heroine who will elicit laughs in some places and tears in others."―Publishers Weekly on No Better Man
"4 stars! Hot! Richardson brings us a modern read set in beautiful Aspen. Her brisk storytelling and the charming, endearing characters set within a solid, engaging plot make this sweet romance shine. A strong and vulnerable Bryce, coupled with a determined, lighthearted Avery, will appeal to readers, especially with their sizzling chemistry. This is a truly delightful read."―RT Book Reviews on No Better Man

About the Author
Sara Richardson grew up chasing adventure in Colorado's rugged mountains. She's climbed to the top of a 14,000 foot peak at midnight, swum through Class IV rapids, completed her wilderness first-aid certification, and spent seven days at a time tromping through the wilderness with a thirty-pound backpack strapped to her shoulders.
Eventually Sara did the responsible thing and got an education in writing and journalism. After a brief stint in the corporate writing world, she stopped ignoring the voices in her head and started writing fiction. Now she uses her experience as a mountain adventure guide to write stories that incorporate adventure with romance. Still indulging her adventurous spirit, Sara lives and plays in Colorado with her saint of a husband and two young sons.

Paige can't believe Ben is back. He made her feel things she doesn't want to feel, like her heart racing and blushing any time he's around. She is good at what she does but her job is on the line this time. She has to impress her boss and Ben's entourage but his mother is not making things easy for her.
I liked both Ben and Paige.
Paige was determined, strong-willed, but at the same time she had a soft spot of vulnerability. She was hurt before and she didn't want someone taking advantage of her again. I can't blame her for guarding her heart.
Her relationship with her family was also not the best but I was glad to see in the end things work out. Sometimes bad things have to happen to unite us.
Ben was a good guy. Yes, he was a player before but he was serious about wanting something more with Paige. I was glad to see he defended her from his mother. He was not perfect, he made mistakes but he recognized them and asked for forgiveness.
In regards to the secondary characters, I loved Julia. I can't wait to read her story!
Ben Noble is a charming daredevil, unapologetic about his privileged upbringing and all the perks that come with it, including his choice of attractive women but it’s the artless and outdoorsy mountain guide that has ensnared his attention for the last year. Their previous meeting ended on a low note and now that he’s returning to Aspen as part of a campaign to rebuild his political image, Ben is determined to make this second chance work for him. Unfortunately, Ben faces stiff opposition not just from Paige, but also from his mother and campaign manager who don’t think that Paige is the kind of woman that would fit in with his lifestyle as a senator.
SOMETHING LIKE LOVE was fun! Lots of drama (some of it annoying), lots of smoldering passion and great characters! I love Ben! His protectiveness of and devotion to his sister Julia, his pride in his family, which was the driving force behind his decision to run for public office and his refusal to accept failure in any form. He’s relentless in his pursuit of Paige, but somehow manages to not cross over into creepy territory. He pulls out all the stops to show her that he’s in it for the long haul. I love that he respected Paige’s ambitions and was sensitive to her fears.
Paige is no stranger to disappointment and her family’s lack of faith in her made me so mad, but she does not stay down for long and that is such an amazing thing about her. Her resistance to Ben was understandable just about as much as it was annoying, but I love how easily she was able to bond with Julia. I absolutely loved the simmering tension between Ben and Paige and enjoyed their journey to their happy ending, including the challenges they faced and how their thorny relationships with their families were fixed.
SOMETHING LIKE LOVE is all about family, dreams and love and dealing with the challenges all three can bring. This is my first time reading Ms. Richardson’s work but it definitely won’t be my last.
