Garden Gnome Greatness

So this thing arrived and I was a little skeptical...I was against garden Gnomes. Since his arrival Prince Buffet of the Gnome clan has been watching over my garden and helping to remind me that I can drink while I garden...even early in the morning. His Gnomealicious has also helped my garden grow, by increasing sun exposure and regular watering...or maybe that was the trees we took out and the lucky weather...who knows. He has been a great addition to the Garden, but they should preface this item with a statement that you will see increase Beer cost with ownership. My wife has pointed out that His Highness has been sneaking beers from our garden fridge....I didn't even know we had a garden fridge...or didn't remember putting one in...sometimes I black out gardening...whatever don't judge...he also is crappy at conversation and cheats at cards. Hope this review helps....got to go...it's 5 óclock somewhere .

This little guy is quite cute. He's well balanced and well designed. Feels like he'd be pretty durable.

The part that stands out is the sloppy paint job. As you can see, the other reviewers have pointed out, the quality of the paint job is about a 2.5 on a 1 - 10 scale. I will touch it up with a Q-tip and some household paint, and it will look awesome, so that's no problemo.

Still, no way I can give this item four stars, let alone five, with this kind of finish.

I mean, it's gonna be a gift....right now I'd be ashamed to give this to anyone.

He's a fairly cute little guy but sadly, he arrived broken due to very poor shipping, some of the worst I've seen from Amazon. The paint is a little messy and by no means close to perfect but not that noticeable unless you are looking for mistakes. I might reorder and see if I get lucky and it arrives in one piece, I think it's worth the $15. It would be cute for our upcoming Jimmy Buffet concert tailgate and then would find a nice spot for him on my summer screen porch. Amazon dropped the ball on the packaging for this item.

This is just an awesome gnome. I received it and the gnome is great looking - nothing was broken and the paint job was good. My only complaint would be that the gnome was shifting around in it's box a little (not the shipping box, but the actual box that the gnome comes in) so I added some packing paper and bubble wrap to the box so that the gnome won't shift after I wrap it and mail it to the person who is getting it for Christmas.

I ordered this for a Jimmy Buffett fan, to go along with a books titled "How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack" because I thought it was just hilarious... I hope the recipient likes it as much as I do!
