I was a little hesitant to buy this game on the switch with the reports of 30 FPS on this version and loads of visual glitches reported at launch. I'm here to say that I'm three worlds in, and have not experienced any of this, this game is playing very well and looks very well I don't think 30 FPS is going to hinder performance the way that they've done, it its very solid. And I'm a big Sonic enthusiast. I dont know if a day one patch has ironed out these existing issue. Load times have been heavily exaggerated online, each stage takes my switch less than 7 seconds to load. If you are considering this game on switch over other platforms. Get it. Unless you want the highest fidelity experience, this is honestly very solid port and i think Blind squirrel games recieves more flack than they deserve for there efforts.

This game just came in the mail for me, and honestly, its super good!

I haven't seen the extreme glitches or anything like what other people have said they've seen. I just started aquarium park and so far its been really entertaining and fun!

The only thing I have definitely noticed is, some of the color power themes are lowered in sound when you activate them. Sometimes Sonic will go out of bounds if you jump on certain objects and the game glitches, but I haven't seen much of that. Also, some of the sound effects are either really loud, or somewhat quiet, or non-existent. The loading screens are a little long of a wait, but not too too long. Hopefully if they update the game soon, those will be fixed. But other than that, I totally recommend the game!

Got the game early and it is extremely buggy and glitchy. My suggestion is if you forgot that you pre-ordered like I did, just wait for an update(s)/patch before buying/playing.

The package arrived on my birthday and honestly, it's one of the best birthday gifts I've received.

The game plays well - despite seeing some complaints on the 30 FPS, it doesn't hinder my ability to play it. Glitches, I feel, are a given with Sonic games at this point - but I've only encountered one thus far. I just end up laughing when that happens. Other than that, not much is different other than the addition of the Rival Rush mode with Metal Sonic and the customization features. It's just as enjoyable as it was in 2010.

Personally, I found it worth the money because I'm playing this to have fun and relive a part of my childhood since I enjoy the Sonic franchise so much.

A very fun game, with beautiful graphics, pumping music, plenty replayability, and overall just an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend getting the DLC to go along with the game. The Switch version is no where near as buggy or glitchy as what people are claiming. If you want a fun Modern Sonic game on the Go, or even just to play at home, this game is certainly for you.

Its only competition is Sonic Generations when the Steam Deck releases.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my child. They already has the game for another system (maybe 3ds or wii) anyway they wanted it for their switch. They said it of course it like the other game but has new stuff in it as well. They like playing it so I call that a win.

Packaging was pretty clear. I got the game, the keychain and a code for "Ultimate Icon Pack". The game runs pretty smooth. In my 5 minutes of playing. There's a few loading screens you can see in the video. I don't think sonic is a character that transitions well in 3D generally but the game has the potential for fast so I'm excited to see where it goes.

Game is as expected. I had my first box crushed as Amazon delivered it in a bubble mailer. After speaking to customer service they sent me a second copy….which they proceeded to put in a bubble mailer and crush again. Not impressed Amazon

So disappointed! Grandson will love the game, but the Nintendo outer box is flimsy and was shipped in an envelope that had no protective qualities. Box was smashed all along the top and right side. Not enough time to repurchase/replace.
