    Sound quality awesome lots of bass! Wireless capability amazing in areas in my backyard where my cell phone has trouble connecting to the wireless home Netwerk the speaker connects without any problem at all! My big concern was would it work with my Sonos system that was installed 10 years ago? The answer is yes! If you’re like me and your home was built 10 years ago with the initial Sonos products controlled by the Sonos one app on your phone I had concerns buying a new product if it would integrate. This one does. First you download the new Sonos to app to your phone and register the new device out of the box. Then you reset the device from your phone and downgrade it from Sonos to to Sonos one. About a 10 minute process and it effortlessly joined the rest of my son on speaker group and really has proven to be quite weather resistant and extremely portable very happy with the purchase.

    I have to admit that I am a longtime fan of SONOS, although I do think that I have dealt my share of constructive criticism over the years. When it comes to the SONOS MOVE, I think they have made a home run!

    Here is what I like:

    1. It sounds amazing! Here's why - The bass is significant, even outside, without ever getting distorted. It plays really loud if you want, but also sounds well balanced at low sound levels. They did something amazing with the high-frequency and mid-range where is sounds uniform across the entire side and forward projection of the speaker, not just in the "sweet spot" in front like other speakers. It is beautifully detailed and realistic sounding.
    2. It looks great. Here's why - It has the same great looks as I have come to expect from SONOS, but there is something about the material choices on this product that make it even better. It fits right in with my other SONOS speakers, while not taking up any more space than say a SONOS ONE.
    3. Automatic Trueplay - it automatically adjusts its sound depending on where you place the speaker, making sure that it always sound its best. I imagine this was pretty had to do, but it works really well. I put MOVE in some pretty challenging places inside and outside, and within 20 or 30 seconds or so it just fixes itself and sounds great again!
    4. The WiFi range - I took MOVE outside and began to walk all around the outside my house and into the yard pretty far away and it never lost connection. SONOS did something special here with the WiFi to make it super robust.
    5. Bluetooth - even if you go some place without WiFi, you can still connect with Bluetooth. I like having that feature so that I don't have to worry if there is WiFi or not wherever I might travel.
    6. It feels solid - It has a great solid and balanced feeling to it. There is an integrated handle in the back that is just part of the design. I've set it down on sand and grass and it just feels stable and balanced.
    7. Stereo pair - I only have one, and with it I can fill my whole yard with incredible sound, but I like knowing that if I ever got another one, I could set them up as a stereo pair and have myself a real outdoor concert!
    8. It's weather proof - you could get caught in the rain, or it could get dirty and you can just rinse it off with a hose. I plan to take good care of MOVE, but its nice to know that it has this level of protection from the elements.
    9. It has voice control - just like the SONOS ONE, it has a microphones that allow you to use Alexa and Google voice assistants. That comes in handy, especially when you are outside grilling.
    10. Charging base - it comes with a nice charging base, instead of it being sold as an accessory like other brands do.

    What I don't like:

    1. Travel bag - it comes with a nice looking bag, but I question how long it will last and how much protection it will really give. I'm sure SONOS will offer a travel bag accessory at some point, but for $400, it seems like they could have included a nylon padded bag with handle and pouch for accessories.
    2. USB-C charger - it is great that it comes with a nice charging base, but if they made the charger a detachable USB-C charger, then you could more easily take it with you when you travel. I'm sure SONOS will probably sell a USB-C charger accessory at some point, but again, for $400, I think this could have been included.

    Overall, this is one fantastic product. I would say that this is easily the best SONOS product they have ever made. I just love having a" truly wireless" wireless speaker!

    SONOS Move are incredibly powerful high-fidelity speakers with great capability and performance. I only wish I had known these few things before a painful learning curve. Much of this has probably already been said here, but here’s my take.
    1. SONOS speakers are meant to be played via streaming over WI-FI. What that means is, using the SONOS app you select all of your streaming services that you subscribe to (Amazon Music, Apple, Spotify, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, etc.) and your voice assistance service (eg. Alexa) if you wish and the speakers are controlled through the app. Yes, the speakers themselves have volume control and the standard pause, skip and back features. Note, no tuning of balance, treble or bass except through the app when connected through WI-FI. Edit: note that SONOS Move has an auto tuning feature available when you leave it in listening mode.
    2. You can stream a Bluetooth enable device to the SONOS Move speaker, but you are limited to playing it through one speaker because unlike JBL, the speakers themselves do not connect to one another over Bluetooth. Again, this is a WI-FI over Bluetooth preferential that SONOS makes.
    3. Airplay2 from an iPhone will automatically make the SONOS Move speakers as an option to play your Apple Music to. That’s great because then you get the benefit of using the stereo pair when using two SONOS Move speakers, which you don’t over Bluetooth. Confused yet?
    4. The SONOS app is actually VERY EASY to use even though you need to connect your streaming services initially in the app. There is EQ and Volume control through the app as well as a number of settings and tutorials even.
    At first I was disappointed with some of these findings that I had to uncover on my own. And I almost packed them up for return. But after using them for the last 48-hours and enjoying the portability and amazing sound details, I’m thinking I’m keeping the pair of speakers. I like how they feel, sound and look.

    Note: Initially I wanted speakers to play records on my Bluetooth turntable. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the SONOS Move speakers not connecting to one another via Bluetooth, only one speaker can be connected to my turntable. However, the sound quality from the one speaker is so amazing that it seriously doesn’t even matter - get over it stereo loving self.

    This speaker is ideal in so many ways. It’s portable the sound is incredible for inside and outside. The quality of sound on low levels is always the tell and this speaker has lovey definition at the lowest of volume levels and well as the louder levels. We’ve been enjoying it so much. So easy to use and to use other people’s device music is a breeze. Not much set up clear instructions. We have other portable Bose speakers that also work well but this is a whole different purchase. The sound fills the room in a beautiful way. Buy it you won’t regret it.

    Die Einbindung des Speakers in ein bestehendes Sonos-System in unserem Haus war eine Katastrophe. Die Sonos-Software ist so umständlich und schlecht zu managen, dass man nur deutlich davor warnen kann, mehr als einen Sonos-Lautsprecher zu versuchen in ein System zu verknüpfen und mit dem hauseigenen WLAN zu verbinden. Wir haben einen halben Tag versucht, den mobilen Speaker zu integrieren, mit dem Ergebnis, dass wir das gesamte System auf Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen mussten um dann alles neu zu installieren. Trotzdem verlieren dann einzelne Speaker immer wieder die Verbindung sodass man die Speaker nur über Bluetooth laufen lassen sollte. Bei den nicht gerade günstigen Preisen für die Boxen ist das ein erbärmliche Preis-Leistungs.Verhältnis. Wir haben stattdessen einen mobilen Speaker von Marshall gekauft, der nach 2 Minuten tadellos lief.

    Al contar con una bocina Sonos ya tienes en la mano audio de calidad, de eso no hay duda. VENTAJAS que le veo y e usado: La bocina Sonos Move se siente resistente en material desde la caja envuelta hasta la bocina y la carcasa, la conexión a bluetooth es fácil y rápido, puedes sincronizar con otras bocinas Sonos, Alexa integrado, atractivo y moderno cargador dock, portatil con un sonido fuerte en especial en los bajos justo para una juntadita chica-intermedia. DESVENTAJAS - Esta es mi segunda bocina Sonos siendo la primera un sonos one. A mi parecer, me agrada mas el sonido del Sonos One teniendo un sonido mas claro en los agudos y mas disfrutable para mis gustos. El Sonos Move tiene graves (bajos) mas pronunciados que a veces aturde un poco. Le e intentado mover al ecualizador en la app de sonos pero aun asi no e logrado atinarle al sonido. El Move es algo pesado para estarlo cargando constantemente de un lado a otro. El costo es elevado pero justificable por la calidad de material y audio. El adaptador que va en el toma corriente es un cuadro grande. Se nota ligeramente la calidad del sonido al pasar de wifi a bluetooth (lo cual es normal para cualquier bocina y/o audifonos bluetooth). Lo e usado durante una hora sin estar en el cargador y me bajo la batería a 85% (tal vez sea por el nivel de volumen que lo maneje en 3/4).

    En si no me arrepiento para nada haberlo adquirido porque compras un Sonos y el sonido es excepcional tal vez igual o mejor que bose pero si creo que puede haber gente que prefiera el sonido de un Sonos One siendo tal vez una mejor opción adquirir 2 Sonos One y sincronizarlos. Te saldrá mas barato y tendrás un sonido de calidad Sonos, pero pierdes la portabilidad el cual es la función principal del Move.
