Does anyone know if there's a lens cover that will fit this? One didn't come with it.
Overall though for normal pictures I love this camera. See some of my pictures (http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B00AQDG96K/ref=cm_cr_dp_cust_img_see_all_txt) I took the one of the orange cat, mountain dew, and pink flowers. Getting the background to blur (which I like) was pretty easy to capture. For $120 refurb you cannot beat it!
It is very light weight with the correct AA batteries put inside
20MP is freaking awesome. Note that most images are about 7MB+ each! So a 32GB card will hold roughly 3,000 says the camera.
Pretty quick at taking pictures. Using this card and it works great with it at 90mbs (http://www.amazon.com/PNY-32GB-Elite-Performance-UHS-1/dp/B00DX5D9I4/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399295424&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=32gb+90mbs+pny)
No viewfinder (not really a con but would be nice to have I think? lol)
Weight isn't balanced, feels like its all in the grip the weight. I do not know if its just this camera or not because I haven't tried others. Tripod I got would not sit flat because of this so make sure you get a good tripod. This one posted works great!(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KP473Q/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Will update my review once I figure out Macro and low light :)
zoom lens at max but in normal light without the subject not playing sports
or running then this is fun camera with a lot to recommend it. It has a great
panoramic mode and point and shoot mode will cover a lot of situations.
A generation ago cameras would seem to take forever to take for ever to focus
in low light if you don't use the maximum of the zoom lenses it is really quick by
comparison. I did a panoramic view at sunset and was very pleasantly surprised
by the cameras ability to use the available light.
As far as video it has to be the worst so far. It constantly wants to keep re focusing and the LOUD focus noise will pretty much ruin any video. Bought this for pictures so I think we will be ok.
Update. I raised the review 1 star. The pictures outside and zoom are impressive. Not a dslr but definitely pretty good. Time between pics waiting for camera to reset is still annoying. Not sure how sony let this one go.
