***So far the coolest thing is the app I got to sync with my house monitoring camera. I can watch live streaming video of my home camera on my watch! See photo.
*Color screen (I read some reviews that the screen resolution is low, but i think it's great!)
*Syncs not just with Bluetooth (which can be unreliable) but also over your wifi connection.
*You can play games
*Selfies - My phone only has a back camera, so i got an app that lets me view my camera on the watch and take photos.
*Health tracking - like steps, encourages you to hit your fitness goals, can be linked up to external heart rate chest strap
*Short battery life. Lasts 2 days at most. I usually just charge it when i go to bed, so it's no big deal and if you forget to charge it at night, no biggy because it only takes about half hour to charge.
*The charging port is ridiculous! It's the only thing i don't like about the watch. The little tab covering it is impossible to maneuver and put the plug in.
I will note that when you very first get it, it takes a very long time for the firmware update and it acts like it's not working, but it is. I ended up plugging it in and letting it do it's thing overnight and it was all ready for me in the morning.
Also, they make screen protectors for it. I'd buy one and install it before you wear the watch. I wore mine for about a week without one and didn't scratch it, but why take the chance? My personal choice would be a liquid type like the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield.
Very customizable and lots of features
Multiple apps and can use it to control my phone
GPS built in (reason why I bought it)
Easy to charge, switch watchband, etc.
Water resistant (I would hope so)
It seems to drop GPS pretty easily. I ran over 4 miles with it and it said I had only gone 2500ft. This is very disappointing since I bought this to track my exercise routines (biking, running, etc). Even when I'm not in a greenway, it seems to drop GPS.
I bought this in the hopes of detangling from my phone during exercises without splurging on a really expensive GPS watch. I loved it when I first got it; however, as I've had it longer I notice that more times than not after my exercise that it dropped GPS and didn't track my runs.
I would, however, recommend this as a daily watch for someone who doesn't like being buried in their phone. If you're one to keep your phone on silent or vibrate, you easily get vibrate notifications from your watch. You can also stream music from your watch or control streaming from your phone using your watch.
Overall, great device, but not perfect at tracking exercise.
-Works great in the shower
-Easy to clean
-Responsive touch screen
-Fabulous charge time (I am astounded how fast this watch charges.. A 5v-1amp charger can recharge 30% in literally about 10 minutes)
-Bluetooth distance isn't the best... It can easily disconnect at ~10m
-Annoying charge port
This isn't what you would call a handsome watch. It is fairly sporty and maybe a little geeky looking. However, it's very comfortable and I've grown to quite like it.
The scrunched is easy to read even in direct sunlight but the colors are a bit washed out.
The battery charges quickly, it is fully charged in under an hour and a full charge lasts about 24 hours.
More apps are added to Android wear all the time and using the OS is really simple after a day or two.
I honestly was very surprised at how useful the watch is. Not having to grab my phone to check messages or skip songs is awesome.
