Product Description

How on earth did they fit so many features into this 13-inch flat screen TV? The flat screen minimizes glare and distortion for a more realistic picture, while a 3-line digital comb filter delivers crisp clean images. The front A/V input makes it easy to connect to a video game console or a VCR, while the rear A/V input keeps cables hidden from view. The attractive silver finish and sleek compact design make this TV the perfect fit for any room.

The Sony Trinitron KV13FS100 WEGA television is completely flat vertically and horizontally, which provides a sharp three-dimensional picture that's virtually distortion free. This 13-inch set is a great choice for use in the kitchen or your vacation cabin. It features a 4:3 aspect ratio, a three-line digital comb filter (usually found on higher-end models), and a component-video input.

Sony's three-line digital comb filter compares consecutive horizontal scanning lines within a video frame and uses digital circuitry to make adjustments, providing outstanding picture quality with sharp, crisp edges, while virtually eliminating dot crawl. The KV13FS100 also features a dynamic picture processor, which maintains image detail in very bright and dark areas of each scene.

The built-in stereo speakers are positioned on the side and produce 3 watts of power apiece. The KV13FS100 has an component-video input (rear), 1 RF input (rear), 2 A/V inputs (1 front, 1 rear), and a headphone jack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent small CRT for classic video games.
By Randori on January 7, 2020
This is easily the best small CRT for classic gaming without buying a PVM. If you are not a retro gamer, there are many cheaper TVs out there for you. This 13" Flat CRT boasts a lot of features that were extremely in uncommon. In addition to the flat FD Trinitron picture tube, it has has good quality stereo speakers and most impressively a Component video input. I use a RetroTink RGB to Component transcoder to connect my classic consoles with RGB SCART cables and the results are beautiful. I took a few pics of 16-bit video game title screens to demonstrate how good the picture quality is. Colors are bright and accurate with zero bleeding or crawling, and small details are sharp and clean. This TV also has composite video inputs that I mostly use for convenience, but is nice if you don't have a way to connect your consoles to the component input. I can't recommend this TV enough to anyone who likes to play 8-bit and 16-bit games on a CRT that can fit on a desk. But, if you need a general purpose TV, there are much better options out there.
