I got mine at Target. It's a little difficult to criticize a super-low dollar stereo component, unless it doesn't work at all and I figured at this price, when it breaks you just get another.
I returned a Sennheiser PX100, mainly because it wasn't built much better than this, I didn't need a headset to fold and the midbass wasn't ridiculously overwhelming like it is on the Sennheiser and of course the 210LP is a lot less expensive.
Although riddled with small frequency aberrations, I found the sound listenable and even occasionally enjoyable using a variety of AC-powered sources - a couple receivers and integrated amplifiers. It isn't as smooth in the midrange as the PX100, for example, but not particularly irritating. The midbass is full without being over-emphasized as it is on so many other headphones providing much more intelligible speech. This characteristic alone made me keep it. It's a bit less efficient than more expensive headphones, but this is of not much consequence, except that it may be easier to burn it out.Read more ›
Overall I like these. I use them at work at my desk and a 3' cord was a bit too short to move around my desk without yanking my old headphones (also Sony) off my head. I'd recommend these for the price/performance balance.
Comfort-wise, after a two-hour bike ride, I still don't feel like I'm wearing anything and my ears are not sore (unless I play my music too loud). These headphones don't block outside noises that much, which is a good thing for me when I'm on the bicycle and want to hear approaching traffic. However, these headphones will not do a good job of blocking out indoor gym noise.
The only major drawback for me is the extra-long cord. Who needs 5'? The extra length might be beneficial for some settings, like an office, where you don't want to feel so tethered. However since I use them exclusively for working out, and the excessive cordage just gets in the way. I found that a paper clip helps.
Overall, a decent pair of headphones for casual listening, or for working out.

these work great. I use them at work to tune out the noise.Published 11 months ago by Book Lover and
These are the old-school kind of headphones. If you find in-ear head phones uncomfortable and like going on long old man walks everyday (like me), these are for you.Published 12 months ago by William Young
These headphones work fine, are comfortable, light weight, and exactly what I wanted. The sound is good but nowhere near the fidelity of my Sennheiser PX-100’s. Read morePublished 16 months ago by DIYDude
Light weight. Good quality ($56) but almost close to MDR-110 ($24) in quality. Today it's price is ($37.14 instead of $56). What can I do now?Published 16 months ago by Chiman
My daughter loves these headphones. They're lightweight, have good sound, and are comfortable.Published 17 months ago by jkat1946
They work great. I bought another pair because I don't know when I'll find some that are as light & well-fitting. They don't press on my ears, which I like.Published 17 months ago by SeussFan
The headphones themselves are very good. My complaint is the price. Until recently, these were around ten dollars. Sony, look at your competition. Read morePublished 19 months ago by loafer
