Hello everyone. I just recently had to purchase a new (third) pair of these headphones after about 2 years of use. My first pair of these headphones died after the cord near the headphone jack became loose, and my current (second) pair died after 2 years of use (the right earphone has stopped working.) I think these headphones are great for running and working out (I know some people have issues keeping them on, but I haven't had a bad experience with them.) The sound quality is surprisingly good for a pair of affordable headphones--they offer a deep, rich bass; clear, sharp mid-ranges; and decent trebles. They can also be very loud and I often use the lowest setting on my listening device, which saves energy/battery life.

One advantage to these headphones are that the loops that go around your ears allow you to adjust how much external noise you can block. If you want to focus/concentrate on what you're listening to, you can push the earbuds into your ears. If someone's talking to you, or you want to be more aware of your surroundings, you can have them hang more loosely in your ears--great for listening for traffic or other things while running.

During my extensive usage of these headphones, I've come into a few problems and am willing to offer my solutions to you so you can get the biggest bang for your buck.

1. Avoid losing sound channels. Let's face it. The wires fore headphones are brittle and often enough they bend and break way too easily. One solution for that is to tape the cord around the headphone jack for added stability. I used scotch tape, but I'm sure any tape will do. This will almost completely nullify the experience of one headphone dying due to an exposed or breached cable/wire and it literally adds MONTHS to your shelf-life. I didn't think about this trick until I purchased my second pair of headphones, unfortunately, but it really made them last (two years.)

2. If you're an avid runner or you work out hard like me, your headphones may randomly seem to reduce in sound quality or stop completely. I found when my sound quality was reduced, I had some earwax blocking the channels on one or both of my earbuds. By taking a can of compressed air, or a toothpick, you can clean out the pores in your earbuds and have the sound working again as though the headphones were brand-new. You can also blow into them manually or suck out the earwax that way, but I don't recommend it since it's not very effective.

I really like these headphones and they've become my personal headphones of choice. They do all I need them to do and they're really affordable, especially if you use the longevity-increasing tips I mentioned above. As a result, I give these headphones a 5/5 in quality.

With those clarifications, here is my review of the product:

These pair of ear phones are incredible in many ways and for MANY reasons, but I will list the 5 I think would be most important for a potential buyer of the product.

1)The most important reason these are incredible is because of the quality of the sound that these ear phones produce, with an incredible (and thumping, yet not overbearing) Bass and crisp and clear sound.

2) I recommend this product to anyone is because these are EXTREMELY comfortable. I get out of my car around 8am when I park at my school's commuter parking lot and put these on, and have them on my ears throughout the day (only time I take them out of my ears is when I'm in class or if I need to speak to someone in person). I even leave them on when I'm not listening to music because they're extremely comfortable (and mind you, barely noticeable) and they tend to mostly mute outside sounds (complete silence when I'm in the library studying/doing work).

3) I use them at the GYM, when I go out to run, or when I go to the basketball courts to shoot around and these are perfect for any of those (or related) activities. They don't come off the ears with varying movements, and only time they come off is when I'll accidentally tug on the wire after a jump shot or something.

4) These are EXTREMELY durable. I'm on my second pair of these, because I broke the first pair, but I bought a second pair of these ASAP. I didn't even have to consider other options.

5) The last, but not least important, reason I recommend this product is because, for a product that fulfills and accomplishes all the aforementioned criteria, and STILL produces an incredible sound, these are priced at a range of ONLY $10 to $20.

BUY These, ASAP. You will NOT be disappointed.

I am very happy with the way this fits on my ears. Its like a match made in haven. Good sound quality. I have used it for a month, but in the last week, twice, I had a problem of missing sound in one of the ear phones. This problem seems to be corrected by itself. But, now I am a bit concerned that this producct may not last long.
