Reads all kinds of memory cards (Sony's Pro Duos, SDHC cards, etc.). Fast. Works every time. I've had it for months and it never fails.

This reader does NOT work with my Sony Memory Stick Pro MagicGate--I could not get the stick to go into the reader. It's not worth the shipping to send it back for a refund. I can use it for my SanDisks, but that's not what I was after. Amazon needs to modify the description to make it clear which Sony cards it does and does NOT work with.

I have a card reader built into my computer, but it has never worked well and won't read many of the cards I have, so when I saw this item I had to purchase it and I'm so glad it did. I am so impressed with it, it reads the cards my computer reader won't and I don't know how I ever lived without it! It's well built and small and easy to tuck into my camera bag. I highly recommend it!

I bought a new laptop a few months ago but couldn't put my pictures on it from my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H3 just by inserting the memory card. After I realized I needed an adapter to plug in the usb port, I bought the Sony media memory stick. It worked perfectly and is small enough to carry in my camera case. It downloaded my pictures/videos quickly and easily. Definitely recommend!

Just put your Memory Stick or SD card into the slot, put reader into your USB port & photos are transferred to your computer
quickly. No other setup is required. I'm using it on my Mac Mini & MacBook Pro, 10.7.5 & 10.8.2 versions respectively.
It's at an attractive price too & great for travel due to its small size.

I had another USB drive for my digital camera that got completely fried, so found this one on Amazon. It looked sturdy (unlike my prior drive), and I liked that it was branded Sony, just like our camera. The only issue that I had -- and it was fairly easy to overcome -- is the SD card from the camera needs to be slid into the slot in the back of the drive ALL the way to one side so it can be read. Again, not a deal breaker but on first use I didn't slide it all the way over and thought the drive was broken out of the packaging. Maybe initial user error, but was fixed and now works great.
