See the pictures attached -- the first picture is the faulty battery, the second picture is from a normal battery for reference (you can clearly see the 3 contact terminals present)
Really disappointed that Amazon didn't even bother with actually ever testing this battery with a multimeter or even a closeup inspection when they decided to list it as 'very' good condition. There's no way for the contact terminals to just "fall out" during shipping either.
I've been shooting with Sony batteries since ... 1999 (don't hold me to that precisely) I still have some of the original InfoLithium batteries that came with my Mavica, and they still work. Not like brand new, but they still work.
This is also good for about 1-1.5 hrs of 4k 100mbps recording.
