The VAIO T Series Ultrabook is expertly designed to contain all the connectivity ports that other Ultrabook laptops may lack without adding extra heft to the ultra-smooth, full flat design. You can have it all and do it all with this thin and light Ultrabook that you can easily take it with you anytime and anywhere.

I came off of a brief stint of using a Blackberry Playbook 64 GB when my laptop last semester died, but it just couldn't handle the excel functions and multi-tasking I was used to. I knew I needed a laptop that could handle full Excel funtionality (I'm an accounting major) but no tablets as of last summer really could do that, although I had totally been converted to a tablet fan.
Enter the Ultrabook. Perfect combination! This laptop is quite light, yet very sturdy because of its Aluminum frame. Sony really nailed it with the build, much better than my old one! The screen is excellent, although after a couple weeks I noticed from regular use, just opening and closing it that the screen was getting very dirty from the keyboard when closed. I also noticed once nick, and immediately ordered a screen protector from Taiwan somewhere for like $7.. I wish they sent one with it... It has been fine ever since. I use it daily for 6-12 hours, between classes, meetings, presentations, hardcore emailing (I manage something like 6 emails through my outlook), it syncs well with my Xperia U smartphone. Everything works well and all combines to give you a very smart-looking laptop that will turn heads and handle anything you throw at it. I have never had any performance issues. I recommend Sony products on a regular basis, but this one has stood through 1.25 semesters without a bit of a slip, and is a great way to marry the battery life and portability of tablets with the traditional computing strengths of a laptop.
More ridiculously, when I called the tech support, they asked me if I had been installing the software updates that Sony asked me to, cause if I didn’t, it’s my fault that the hard drive died. (BTW, I don’t think I have ever refused any updates Sony prompted me to install.) Then, he proceeded to “educate” me that a computer consists of hardware and software, …etc. As you see, I was ticked off at this point and told the “support” that I wanted to speak to his manager. He politely asked me if he could put me on hold so he could type up our conversation and give me a ticket number. After being on hold for at least 10 minutes, he told me that there was a computer error and he could not get the ticket number. At this point, the quality of Sony repair service is so clear to me that I decided to find a local shop to fix the laptop that I spent $1000+ for.
Don’t buy Sony Vaio!!!
While I fully recommend this product, the new functional replacement from Sony has a touch screen.......WOW! My next purchase.
But the ultrabook is compact and sleek, when is running is fast enough for me.
The keyboard is smooth, compared to my previous notebook.
The mousepad doesn't work well from day 1. It's not very responsive, had to add another one.
