The description of the item at the time of purchase is confusing because first says that the computer comes with a 1TB hard drive, but far below is a small section that says it comes with a 500GB hard drive. The disappointing reality is that it comes with a 500GB disk.
The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. Has some details of operation. For example, WinDVD 10 can not read a DVD, it takes between 5 and 10 minutes to start a DVD and sometimes the program crashes and closes itself. I had to install another DVD player to watch my movies. This bothers me because I pay $ 1200 to have a computer with original software and not working well!.
The integrated webcam is not as good as expected, knowing it is a "SONY".
As for the sound, the computer sounds good, but for me it has a poor amplifier. If you want more volume then you must use an external amplifier.
In conclusion, the computer is absolutely beautiful to look at. I'm not happy with the 500GB hard drive, because I was waiting for a 1TB, as indicated in the description from Amazon. I'm thinking of changing the operating system, but not sure if I can make available the touchscreen function with another Operating system like Windows XP. If you want to get an ALL-IN-ONE computer, and you have $ 1200 to spend, for me this is the best option, after reviewing the other brands like HP, ASUS, etc.
However, this is a real excellent pc: excellent surround sound(I don't need separate speaker for music), very clear picture, fast cpu, very very good touch screen-sensitive all around the corner, cordless keyboard and mouse working really good and touch is very soft, light weight as pc, easy to move and can place anywhere, no hassle to arrange bunch of lines, very fast wireless connection...
It just a little bigger notebook computer with huge sound.
This is so good as a pc, it made me keep it although need TV tuner.
If you need a new pc, this is it. Nothing to be desired as a computer.
* power line connection is too difficult to hook up.
Why Sony made connection this akward?
On the bright sight, Amazon delivered it within 2 days (about a week before expected). This was a great surprise, another reason to always buy from Amazon. Setting up took no more than 5 minutes from the time we opened the box and it was up and running fully functional.
I told my wife "lets buy the apple babe"
But no..she wanted to save couple hundred bucks.i knew in the back of my head those couple of bucks will save me headaches in future.happy wife happy life...
Yeah right.
Right off the bat the touch screen was worth less.
Ill be typing or browsing and the touch screen would go crazy.
A breeze? A ghost? The invincible man? Invincible woman?
What a pice of crap.
Touch screen was never never ever ever never functional!
I just liked it to brag to visitors
"Check out my new pc."(piece of s***) "yeah its touch screen"
Wow they would say.who needs to reach over the desk anyway to perform tasks?
Thats why i have this ipad im chilling in the couch warning you about this crappy computer.
Okay so now 6 months later it has a virus or some crap in it.it doesnt even work now.
Six months..?
I swear ive only used this computer about 30 times just to browse and exchange emails 30 times in 6 months for it to crash just not worth it.
Cough up a couple more bucks and get a apple.
