    These are by far the best sounding headphones I have ever used. They have the best microphone for calls and noise cancellation. They also have fantastic noise reduction for online calls in noisy environments. I use them in fabrication clean room environment and no one has trouble hearing me or hearing too much background noise. They are comfortable, connect easily to laptop/phone, and are intuitive to use. They are expensive but they are worth it in my opinion.

    For reference I’ve used the Sony wf1000xm4 ear buds, Sony wh1000xm4 over ear (these has a mic issue develop after 5 years which is why I bought a new one), bose quiet comfort, bose sport ear buds, jabra elite. Bose quiet comforts sound good but had bad background noise isolation. You can hear everything except the person who’s talking.

    -- Noise cancelling button works well (switching is very seamless. Unlike most other headphones, there was no lag or uncomfortable sound changes)

    Sony makes a great product but tries to do too much with a few apps.
    I used to use the Bose app to fine tune listening based on my environment. The Sony app is slow to connect and relies on a whole other app to autoplay or auto sense stuff. It wants you to log into or create an account but never can because of server errors and blah blah blah.
    Features like talk to turn on ambient mode ruins phone calls and web meetings by muting you. Stupid.
    They are comfortable though.

    Everything you read/hear about these headphones is true. Great sound quality, high highs, low lows, and very clear. The noise canceling is superb. I can't even hear the engine in a car while riding in it.

    I have one complaint, and it's not worth a star deduction, but it may be an important caveat for other buyers. The headphones on default configuration sound okay, but you really need to set them up with the Sony headphone app to get the full effect. The problem is there is no equivalent for it available on Windows currently. So if you buy these with an aim to connect to your computer or TV you're going to need to use the dual connectivity feature and have them connected to a phone with the app running at the same time to get maximum effect.

    If you need noise cancellation, then this is the way to go. The case is terrible but the headset will solve your noise problems and you will have beautiful sound. They are not as foldable as the previous model. So, all in all, the noise cancelling feature improved but the case is incredibly not as good as the prior one and, inconceivably, Sony took away the folding feature. My advice: wait until the price drops closer to the XM4 range or just go with the XM4 unless you really, really, REALLY need slightly better noise cancellation.

    BOSE、Beats、sonyで迷っていました。
