This is a must-read and must-have for anyone who is missing their animal friend. I have read more than 20 books related to grief and spirituality after my dog passed and this book is one of my favorites. The author's stories gave me hope that I may meet my dog again one day. My favorite chapter is the last chapter, which discusses farewells and how to cope after an animal companion passes. I find myself coming back to this book often and re-reading that last chapter. The author's style of writing is very soothing to me and her words speak to my soul. I enthusiastically recommend this book!

This book by Sonya Fitzpatrick is just the most informative and the most interesting book I have ever read! She really knows what your pet is thinking and how it is feeling, and I wish I could do that. There have been so many times when I've wondered what my doggie was thinking and why she was doing the things she was doing. Sonya has the ability to do just that and I find it very intriguing that she has the ability to do so! This book is so good and entertaining and informative that I highly recommend to everyone who has a pet to buy this book!

While some people enjoy trying to discredit Sonya Fitzpatrick's TV show and books, I can easily say I know she is for real and really enjoyed this book! I am purchasing it for the second time as a gift to a fellow pet lover and have no doubts about whether the recipient will enjoy and appreciate the book. Sonya's weekly show on The Animal Planet is testimony to the reality of her gift and reading this book is like talking to her directly about some of her most interesting cases. I just wish she could meet and speak with my cats! Don't listen to the naysayers, you will definitely enjoy this book!

After the sudden death of our amazing lab, I had decided I would never have another pet. I would have honored this decision had I not read this book. Her chapter on losing a pet helped us work through our grief and rescue the lovable lunatic we now have. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about reading a book written by an animal psychic, but everything Ms. Fitzpatrick writes in her chapter on losing a pet has proven true for us.
