Amazing price. Amazing product.

Literally, the first thing I said when I plugged it in was, "HOLY S***."It was that cool. I was skeptical cause its so cheap (price wise) but its a little solid night light that gives a BIG presentation. if its projecting on the ceiling it curves on the 90 degree angles, its cool as hell man. Then on top of that, it has an AUX port for playing music. I got this for the kids...but I might be using it more.

The rotation of the device stopped working after about five minutes of use. Save your money. Very poor product.

This product's projections are really cool! I just have 2 small issues. 1) It could be brighter. I get that it's a night light, but even without the top on, it doesn't project as much light as I would have liked. 2) I would like to be able to turn off the red. There are color modes to make every other color combo it has, but all of them contain red. Having said that, I'm happy with the product overall

Wonderful light! Very relaxing before going to sleep. A reasonable price, and nice sellers.
The light goes off automatically after about an hour which is great for falling asleep.
I just noticed that it says, "There are settings for each individual color, or all three..." But I can only get the all red display to work -- not the all blue or all green. That's not a big deal, because I always want the various multiple colors to display anyway.
Also, I don't see a big difference in the pattern of most of the settings, but again, that's not a big deal.
With the first one I got, the rotation effect literally stopped working after only one hour. Due to illness, I wasn't able to contact the seller right away, but they saw my comment and were VERY HELPFUL in offering to send me a replacement. The sellers are quite kind and offer a quick response!
So with that said, I do recommend this item.

While the lights are bright and vivid in a dark room and the ability to choose weather or not to remove the cover to change the definition of the lights and brightness is nice, there's a few fallbacks on this item.
I'll also mention that the auto-shut off is great, seems to work every time.
This was the second unit we had to purchase. The first one's motor stopped working about a week after purchase. It would no longer turn and there was no way to fix it without tearing it all apart. Be careful with the motor on these, they're very finnicky. Another thing is that they are LOUD. This wasn't so much of an issue for us because the motor became a kind of white-noise but if you are looking for something quite, this is not it.

While I'm sure there's a chance for not every unit to be perfect, it's very nice to see that the company is willing to reach out and make it's customers happy.

I absolutely adore this night lamp! So much so that I've actually bought two of them, one for each of my kid' rooms. I bought it initially for my 3 year old daughter who likes to sleep with the light on, it generates more light than a traditional night light. Not a ton, but enough so that she doesn't feel the need to turn the light on anymore. It's enough light to get up a move around without crashing into everything. She likes the first setting that has all the colors (green, blue, and red) gently swirling on the ceiling, I honestly think that it's helped her fall asleep faster because she likes to watch the lights and it's very calming to do so. Once I made that connection I purchased one for my infant son's room as well, to help him fall asleep alone (and to help with middle of the night feedings and diaper changes.) I haven't used it for music at all and I don't intend to so I can't review how well that works. We've been using it for about 6 weeks now and it hasn't broken yet like I have seen on some other reviews. My biggest complaint so far is the quick automatic shut off..sometimes it takes longer for my daughter to fall asleep and she has to get back up and turn it on.

Almost immediately after I left my review, customer service contacted me with an apology for the product and an offer for a full refund. I absolutely commend this and am very happy that this company takes responsibility for a defective product.
If they can achieve quality with this item then I would be willing to give it 4 stars, 5 if they put a 'sleep' mode that allows for a dimmer blue version of the light effects. So, with this new development I change my rating as follows:
1 star for product (because it broke within 2 days)
4 stars for concept
5 stars for customer service

Bought this for my son for Christmas. It was a total hit. Until it started making a grinding noise and randomly turning off after 2 minutes. It's a wonderful thing when it works, but now it's sitting in a corner of his bedroom untouched. He can't sleep with that noise.
Some recommendations for the manufacturer.
Improve the quality and you'll have a perfect product. I think the connections must be very poor to have it stop working intermittently within 2 days. Also, make a blue setting that's just for sleeping. The other settings are just too bright to fall asleep with them on.
The audio is really poor. But, I didn't care about that. Would have loved to just have my little boy's present work for longer than 2 days. Truly a disappointment. Wasted money.

Just received this. It is a delightful device. The light patterns are interesting to watch. I have some recommendations however. 1) It needs a dimmer capability. It is too bright for a nightlight. We had to turn it off in order to go to sleep. 2) To be more soothing at night, there should be pure blue mode....blue background waves and blue ' dancing laser'...the dancing red laser is fun to watch but something more soothing is needed for falling to sleep. 3) It would be great if the dancing laser actually moved to the beat of the music, fast or slow. That last one may be more difficult to engineer, but it would be nice. I read in some post that a new version may be in the works. I would definitely buy it! Even though it is a bit bright, this current version is on my shopping list for my nieces and nephews this year.

Lamp:
4 stars from an adult like me and my wife like it.
3.5 stars from kids reaction as there is no wow reaction from them
It can surely be 5 stars, if one small con is fixed... go on reading.
Light effects are good.
Without lid: The effects are good as shown in picture but not as high definition/bright as in picture.
With lid: has smoother effect but barely noticeable, May be useless with lid on.
Should you buy this: Yes, I do recommend this, as there are not many options available of such kind in this price. I have done the research on Amazon. Don't expect dramatic lights, the room will have dimmer effect, not entire ceiling will be covered by this (that would make the lamp 5 stars), but which ever part will be covered will be with great effects. the room will have nice ambiance.
Its difficult to place in the center of the room to get more coverage of ceiling thou. If i am successful to utilize all the lights projected on ceiling then there would be chance this could be great lamp. And i will update my review accordingly.

This is by far the COOLEST night light / light show I have ever purchased and my kids are in complete fascination with it. The lights with the cover over the top are soft and soothing with the multiple selections and patterns to choose from and with the cover off it displays such a cool a laser light show. The icing on this cake it the built in speakers that you can hook an Ipod or you're phone to sound pretty darn good. I posted the laser show in my kids room and Facebook and so many of my friends were pretty impressed and asked where I got it from :)
