Although people claim that they fit as expected, note that slippers are designed to be worn without socks, unlike shoes.
He talks about how comfortable they are, how great they fit and how much he really likes them.
They fit like a glove and are very warm, and they support my foot bed so much better than any other slippers I've tried.

I'm a full-time telecommuting computer professional and live in Alaska, so these slippers are my work shoes. Here in Alaska, we don't wear shoes in the house (just like most of the rest of the world outside of the lower-48). I wear these about ten hours a day.

Out of the box it was obvious these are well-made. The stitching is multi-strand heavy thread, and the sole quite thick. I work east coast hours, so my work day starts at 3:45 a.m. My initial concern was with the clog-style and heavy sole, these would cause a lot of noise on the hardwood floor in the kitchen while making my trips to the coffee pot. No worries there. These soles are thick, but quiet and flexible. The foot bed (inner sole) on these is removable and over 1/4" thick. Put this slipper next to what you have now, and you'll see an big difference in material and build quality. Not many slippers on the market are like these.

I'll admit to being disappointed when I first tried them on. The fit was spot on (I wear a U.S. 13), but they just didn't hit my arch right. It felt to me like the arch was placed too far back. Like most shoes, I wore them an hour or so a day and eventually they did break in to where they are extremely comfortable. I'm not sure what all the layers are made of, but these broke in very much like the two types of cork-soled footwear I own, Birkenstock sandals and Xtra Tuf boots.

Speaking of the fit, these do not slip off my heel when walking, a concern of some who may be considering a purchase. Your fit will determine how well they do for you, but for me they stay put.

I'd say for the money and the quality, it would be tough to beat this deal. They're a big notch up from anything you'll find in the box stores, and well worth the extra bucks you'll spend.

The Sorel Falcon Ridge slippers are wonderful for wearing around the house. I work from home, and so I wear these slippers all day. One of the major problems with most slippers is that they make your feet sweat, and then they begin to smell. No one wants sweaty-smelling slippers. The Sorels solve this problem by allowing you to remove the slipper footbed so that you can wash it. The outsole is sturdy enough for outdoor use, but I like to reserve my slippers for indoor use only.

The slippers run pretty true to size; I wear a size 13 sneaker and purchased the slippers in a size 13. Since purchasing these slippers, my feet have been warm and cushy. The only slipper that truly eclipses the Sorels are the UGG slippers for men, which are an orgasm for your feet. However, the UGGs are double the price of the Sorels, but are the epitome of slipper comfort. Overall, I am very happy with the Sorels and would recommend them to anyone.

Not being a backless shoe person, I was skeptical that I would like a "semi-mule" style slipper, but I have be pleasantly surprised that they stay on my feet so well. The slight lip at the back seems to do the job. They are significantly warmer than the slippers I replaced, which is to say very, very warm. No cold toes when I have these on. My only slight dissatisfaction, and it is very slight, is that these slippers seem excessively wide. I have D-E width feet and these flop around rather a lot when I'm walking unless I wear two pairs of heavy-ish socks.

I purchased these based on my experience with Sorel Boots. I have had fantastic results with their other product in the past and needed some comfy slippers. I purchased these just before Xmas 2012 and noticed within the first week of wearing them that the fur was coming loose all over the house. Very odd. By New Years all the fur had become matted and the shoes looked and felt 2 years old rather than 2 weeks old.

VERY disappointed in these slippers. Will not being buying them again and honestly feel ripped off. I should have purchased the Merrell Slippers instead.

The slipper looks great, is very comfortable, fits to size and seems that it will be very durable on the outside, however, the fleece on the inside is lousy. I have had the slippers for one month and the fleece by the heel is completely gone on one slipper and wearing fast on the other. I had a pair of "wicked good slippers" that were leather exterior and wool inside that I gave up after about 9 years. At this rate these Sorel's may be a disappointment. For the money I still like them, I just wish that the interior fleece was more durable.

I felt compelled to do a review on this product after reading many reviews by others and buying based on the large set of positive reviews. These slippers are poor quality, considering the high-end price you have to pay for them.

They look nice (+1 star for that) but their construction is very poor. Already the faux-fleece is coming loose on the inside. I've only had them for 3 days and several tufts of the stuff have drifted out.

These slippers began shedding their inside lining after the first wear - large tufts of wool began falling out - and by two weeks they had developed significant bald patches on the inside. They are otherwise quite comfortable and warm, but clearly this pair at least is not long for this world.
