Chilly weather can't stand up to these Sorel boots. A taller version of the Out 'N About booties, these boots are seam-sealed for a waterproof construction and have vulcanized rubber for improved traction.

You really aren’t able to loosen the laces at the bottom. The base of the tongue is attached to the sides so my narrow feet are squeezed across the top of the foot. No loosening of the laces can allow for more room at the bottom, only the top.
Since the base of the laces are tight my foot cannot move forward or backward within the actual shoe (which maybe some people will like). I for one, do not like having any wiggle room. I ordered half a size up per the reviews to allow more room and all it did was add 1/2 inch to the length but with no wiggle room my heel is squarely situated at the back of the shoe and now I have extra toe space/length.
Compared to the Caribou these have way less insulation/cushion around the toes and don’t keep my feet warm in the same way the Caribou do.
Bottom line, I have relatively narrow and shallow feet (height from arch to top of my foot) and these squeeze me right across the middle in an u comfortable way.
Sorry needs to make the area from that tip of the toe to the tongue shorter and roomier. Unless you have the longest toes ever the proportion of this will fit strangely on most.

When worn outside I was disappointed to find that the soles feel very thin and uncomfortable. I have bought insoles and hope this makes a difference.
The boots have poor grip in mud and snow
They are warm and waterproof.
On balance I'm disappointed with these boots that have such hype. I'm glad I got them at 50% off rather than full price

They are not the most comfortable on the soles, I feel like they need a thicker more padded sole for comfort on long walks, short walks you don’t really notice it but you can tell what’s underfoot when walking.
Also when out walking you can feel the darker blue part at the top of the toe across your foot, I wouldn’t recommend for wide feet. In general a good boot but for me for comfort I probably would not go out and order again.
