From the Author
Through much trial and error, I refined the process until my life was running smoothly. I discovered, to my delight, that I could both get more done and, simultaneously, be less stressed.
Several years later, it's been my pleasure to be able to help dozens of clients create this same peace in their own lives. By applying the SORTED method, they are finally able to take control of their home, balance their schedule, and really start moving forward with their lives.
SORTED is all about creating simple routines that allow your life to run smoothly. In the book, you'll find specific strategies and detailed formulas for creating peace and order in your own life, so that you can find more time for the things you really want to be pursuing.

Furthur, the content did not compel me to continue reading. The author sped through unrelated experiences in her life and I did not see a goal for the book.
I found the writing lacking personality, I felt lectured and bored simultaneously. I don’t want to be all negative as I like some of Gillian’s videos, but I just found this very disjointed and bland. The paragraphs are 2-4 sentences long, like a blog post worried about losing the readers attention.
Every chapter just reiterates the former and amounts to “schedule your chores and stick to it”. There are some worthwhile prompts to evaluate the importance of your to-dos but all of the information could have been delivered in an 8 minute video IMO.

Here's why I've given 5 stars to Gillian's book, and why I will recommend it to others to read -
* It is inspiring on a useful level - by which I mean that it hasn't hyped me up so much as to overwhelm me, like some books do.
* It is chock-a-block full of PRACTICAL guidance, steps to take to automate our lives, to develop positive habits, and to beat procrastination!
* The style of writing is easy to read, I can imagine Gillian speaking to me, rather than preaching at us.
* I have started to implement Gillian's suggestions by having a daily and weekly plan, and this is already making a positive difference for me.
I highly recommend that you buy this book, read it and then follow through with it, I can see how this IS going to work, and I am very grateful for these additions to my ever evolving self development :-)
Putting one's self first and getting one's life in order - or should I say SORTED - is the key to keeping calm and not allowing ones's self to become phased by life's stresses and messes.
A great read and one I would happily pay in printed copy.
