I had a very interesting time reading this book. It can seem a little daunting to read something that picks apart many aspects of spirituality, but this book is worth looking into.
What I found most surprising was the balance of ideas, the back and forth of science and religion. The author does a commendable job of stating both sides clearly and with as much impartiality as humanly possible. I have to say the chapter on transmigration of DNA was my favorite, very interesting take on the idea of reincarnation. Even if you don't agree with it, you can see the validity of the theory. I also enjoyed the last section, which listed the many issues that exist when trying to prove the existence of souls and reincarnation. Again, very balanced overview.
As with any book that deals with religion, it might not be for everyone. Although it would be wonderful if very religious people would read it, I doubt they'd find it half as informative as it's meant to be. I can only hope that some of the spiritual people out there will pick it up. It's well worth the attention.

I really like the way this author describes God within us and its relationship with SOUL. The spirit that makes us do good. It's refreshing to read the most balanced view for traditionally religious as well as new generation of science and technology. It leaves the reader with great feelings. I would say, read it to enrich your life.

As if the grammatical error in the title wasn't enough, right there with the MSPaint cover, you're in for a cocktail of stupid if you open this book. I'm glad I found a hilarious free download of it. The book can't cite worth a darn. The "science" is not only outdated, but totally miscredited and untraceable to any factual anything. No one looked this book over. It is positively bursting with errors. No organization, either. This guy is no doctor. That's for sure. This book is just awful. Also, this review is going to be deleted when the product is removed -- because this guy uses an army of spam bots to attack every website and add fake reviews. Just thought I'd share my opinion of this garbage though.

I am personally disappointed with this book - that within only the first couple of chapters the author reveals his belief that "we are God" - sorry, but I find it hard to continue reading once I come across this ridiculous new age attitude.

I would however highly recommend Swami Prabhupada's commentary on the Bhagavad Gita for a genuine explanation by Krishna as to what is the soul & reincarnation.

I read this book completely and did like the logic and rationale laid out by the author. However, he has tried to explain the spiritual concepts with scientific reasonsing, for example reincarnation and such. He states at the end of his book that Soul carries no memory and that is is function of brain. That is completely wrong and I was surprised to read that statement when I was about to finish reading his book because I had agreed to his statements by and large until that point. The soul does carry the memory in fact brain is just a hoax and it supplies the conscious mind with memories. Yes brain stores memories there is no doubt, it isphysical we can study that with science, who can say because brain has memory storage capacity that means soul does not? Also the author then says because one does not remember past life it means the soul does not carry past life memory which is vague? because many a times we get glimpses of past life. Also astrology is perfect science though hard to prove, if karma was not in play how would one believe in astrology? How would planets and stars control us subtly? One reason why we do not remember past life is because it is a new life, Lord wanted us to give new life hence we reincarnated, if we had to carry past life burden consciously then what is the point of dieing and getting born again? We might carry old life itself till we exit finally from world after evoling? We also know that not everyone who knows what wrong they do stop at doing wrong, there are repeat offenders, so that logic does not justify either that if we are punished we should know what we did to receive the punishment, Will we stop doing wrong if we know? Do people who otherwise have good life not do wrong to others and make others suffer?Read more ›
