Soul of Sin is a continuation of Rose of Ebony. Tracy Cooper-Posey takes us into the staid yet surprisingly bawdy Victorian Era where appearance is everything and secrets are held inside the family. What will happen when the extended family find out abut the new relationship between Natasha and Raymond? Tracy once again develops a story and characters that transports the reader.
I recommend this book for those that like historical romance and a great love story.
If you are familiar with the previous series, I am sure you fell in love with the huge family like I did and I admit... I was skeptical at first. To have one of my favorite characters removed and for Natasha to be involved in yet another "scandal". I wasn't sure if I could get on board with it.
I am so glad I was wrong to even think that.
Doing my best to not give anything away, I will say that the story was so well written and made me fall in love all over again. It had the passion I was used to with this author with a little humor and plenty of the sexy sprinkled in. She will keep me as a repeat reader.
The twist I guessed but was happy it was confirmed.
She is a go to author for me when I need a fix of historical romance.
Bravo! Bravo! I can't wait for the next book!
I was wrong. I LOVED Raymond and Natasha. They were written with depth and beauty of soul. The story pulled at my heart and made me care, very much, about their happiness. The themes it touched on were universal human experiences that are relatable to anyone with a heart and a brain.
I plan on reading the entire series now.
