Bad Ass Reaper faces Death again.

I wasn't disappointed with this book. Rain Dance is about a human; after death, was turned into a Reaper of Soul by a Vampire Lord who thinks he is God and nobody defies him.

Emma Miller became Eden Hunter 4 years earlier when her and her sister were betrayed and murdered by that Vampire Lord so he could bring her back because she was rare and unique and could reap souls from the body and store them.

Eden came home and was a tracked by a werewolf and then she found her ex boyfriend dead in her yard. She is,accused of the murder and has to work with a man she doesn't know to try and defeat a Vamipre, a were of and a Goddess.

It's fun to read and lots of action and supernatural aspects.

Meh, I was disappointed in this story which featured unlikable people and a collection of (often unrelated) incidences patched together to make a story. I tried to like it, but at the fifty-percent mark, I skimmed the rest of the book to get an idea of the plot and was happy to finish so I could find something else more interesting. My review is mostly influenced from my dislike of the protagonists and storyline... other opinions could vary, which is why a gave this a neutral rating. For me, a wasted three hours of my time.

I enjoyed reading this book, although at times, the experience was somewhat disjointed. It was difficult to find my place if my bookmark got lost. There were a lot of villains, and a lot of jungle, and a lot of fighting, none of it particularly well described. Her villains are evil, and her heroines are good. Hardly anything but her backgrounds and characters are flat.
