I've been a fan of Audio A since the early 90's. I really didn't think much of the band taking on Kevin Max as their head man for their previous album. I was excited at first because I was a fan of the old DCTalk also, but other than the one huge song Kings and Queens, the album was a dud (for me, at least). I listened to the previews of the songs on Sound of the Saints, and noticed the vocals were different. The songs were catchy though, so I bought and downloaded the album. Wow! The new lead singer is the guy from Stellar Kart. I'm really enjoying it! He's got a voice that's easy to sing along with, and the lyrics, melodies, hooks, and music are great! I just listened to the whole album front to back 4 times in a row in my office. I don't have any throw away songs to list at all. There's a couple worship anthems (Spirit Burn is my favorite), some rock, pop, and some surprises! Get it today... I'm glad I did.

I am a huge Audio Adrenaline fan. I have their CD's and have seen them in concert and have even met the new members. I enjoy the different voices, I believe they sing better than the previous members. Songs and music have changed a little but not enough to be totally new, it's still Audio Adrenaline. And it's Awesome!!!

Definitely NOT Audio Adrenaline. Imagine McDonnald's changing it's secret Big Mac sauce.. That is exactly what these guys did.. They sound cheesy ( for the shoes they had to fill ). Kevin Max not being in AA was a major turn off and I think the split was not amicably. Sad, so Sad that we are missing out on the punky, funky, groovie, rocky AA sound. These guys ( the original members) should just let the brand die with it's glorious record and officially leave it in - Adios.

Adam Agee's voice and style brings back the feeling of Stellar Kart, but it still has a lot of the feel that came from Kings & Queens with Kevin Max as the lead singer. The album is nothing like the Audio A of old, but the lyrics are still powerful - I highly recommend "So Can I."

This is not the Audio Adrenaline of 20 years ago. It's not even the Audio Adrenaline of 3 years ago. Pretty much the entire band switched out (every last one is new to the band this year), and the new lead singer is actually the former lead singer of Stellar Kart. They sound different (more pop than anything else), and so are the lyrics (more praise songs--not a criticism, mind you, but a definite change in direction from the original band). All in all, it is an okay release, made a little worse by assuming the name Audio Adrenaline.

The new band members came out of the corner swinging. There are multiple singles that will bound to please from the upbeat Move to the title track Sound of the Saints. My favorite is Miracle. For people expecting it to sound like the original band members, it won't. It shouldn't. If the older fan base comes with an open mind, expecting new and different, they too will enjoy the freshness Adam and Dave bring to the vocals.

Music was created and inspired by God, and so does this album, you get inspired by the sounds and lyrics of a new band, even do the name is been out for a wile, they have not been 'together' for long this members of this new version of "Audio Adrenaline", it doesn't matter to me. Music needs to remind you about Jesus your Savior, to give you a moment of worship, to lift you up, get and encounter with a Holy God, this is clear on this album, I would never give a bad review or a 1star to a band just because it doesn't have what I am used to or sounds like it in the pass(talking about AA) ,, if it gives Glory to Jesus, who I'm I to say 'don't like it!'.

If you are looking for the original Audio Adrenaline then you will need to get one of their projects from 2014 or earlier. If you are looking for the current version of Audio Adrenaline and want to be entertained, inspired, reminded of your walk as a Christian and, if like me, singing along (at least in my head), then I highly recommend you pick of a copy of Sound of the Saints.

As with many groups who exist over a long period of time changes happen. That does not mean the group is not still very good at what they do, just that they don't sound exactly like their predecessors. That holds true for Audio Adrenaline. They do not sound exactly like the original group with Mark Stuart of the Kevin Max version. However, Mark Stuart did help write the title song, Sound of the Saints.

My favorites would be So Can I, Saved My Soul and Love Was Stronger in addition to the title song.

Get yours today and enjoy!
