The look of the box is wonderful. It was extremely detailed, and surprisingly sturdy. It almost looks like a real boombox at times (I actually tried to pull up the antennae on the top).
Inside is also really nice. The digipacks are neatly arranged for easy accessibility, and feature brilliantly high quality artwork on them. I thought they would have gone for replica vinyl digipacks like the Singles box set and the new album only release, but these are much higher quality, and contain the same artwork. The albums are also snapped into place for some stability (Sandinista! and the 3 bonus disk each have one in a slip though). The inside is ok (I would have put a bunch of photos in, à la the Bealtes 2009 releases, but that's just me), but thankfully the extras and dvd cases each have a mini booklet that gives some information on the band. I really love the little posters with the lyrics on them. The one for Sandinista! has some fun artwork on it, Combat Rock's has a photo on the band on the backside, and London Calling has several photos on it.
The magazines are also really nice, and super high quality. It's made of very thick paper, and feels really heavy actually. The photos in them make up for the lack of ones in the albums too. It's fun reading them since they are basically historical documents. The special edition one contains testimonials from the band (except Terry) and several friends that really give a bit of insight into the history of the band and the opinions of the set.
The stickers are really neat, and I'm probably going to scan them so I can save the ones from the set. The dogtags are also a nice little addition. I'm not quite sure what to think of "The Future is Unwritten" yet. It's a little blank book that's more symbolic than functional. The giant poster in the cigarette container is really nice, and if I wasn't so keen on keeping it pristine it would be up on my wall by now.
The music:
Mick has been harping on about the improvements made to the sound quality for a while, and he wasn't kidding. You really do notice more details compared to the previous remasterings. I did a quick comparison to the old remasterings (which I admittedly just torrented), and noticed a huge difference in clarity, depth, warmth, and bass. If you have the Singles box, they sound nearly identical (I played both version of "London Calling" and couldn't tell the difference). I read a review that said they manage to get vinyl sound out of the CDs, and I have to say that this is true. There is virtually no compression, so you get a really good dynamic range. The music isn't even louder than the previous remasterings. They're the same volume, but here everything is so much more pronounced.
If an award for best remastering of an old album were to be released, the 2013 Clash remasters would best even Deutsche Grammophon's and Decca's acclaimed 24-bit/96-kHz remasters.
The early and live material is really fun too. It shows how great the band were in their element. It's also fun hearing how different they were when they started versus their more famous period.
Despite the mammoth amount of material, there is still some stuff that is missing. I do not just mean the Vanilla Tapes (superfluous) or Cut the Crap (out of this bo xset), but a few random songs as well. They include "Justice Tonight," "Kick It Over" (both rather boring "Armagideon Time" remixes), the superior single versions of "The Magnificent Seven," the abridged "Magnificent Dance," "Outside Broadcast," "Radio 5," and "Mustapha Dance." I'm not entirely missing them (except the Seven remixes and Mustapha Dance), but they are all available in the Singles Box.
I also wish "From Here to Eternity" and "Live At Shea Stadium" were included because they are both absolutely fantastic albums.
DVD
The material here includes several live performances, their promo films, archive of material recorded throughout various times, and the film "Clash on Broadway." Overall it's pretty interesting, and it's fun seeing the band perform live. They're completely in their element and is a real treat for those of us who could never have seen them live.
Overall, if you are a Clash fan, definitely get this. It is worth every penny, and an excellent addition.
If you want to save money, however, I would get the new 5 album box and the Singles Box (both with replica vinyl packaging). You'll get the exact same stuff (minus the tiny amount of material exclusive to both), for a lot less.
Note: I read two reviews that state that the discs are not playing. I'm using my computer, but I tried my external drive and my old computer's drive, and they play perfectly fine. The Singles Box set also features the same design of the black vinyl, and that plays perfectly fine. I cannot explain why other people's do not work.

15. I Fought The Law (Live) (Available on "Clash On Broadway", version on the Sound System box set is different)
Also of note is the version of "Clash City Rockers" included in this box set. It actually plays slower, and is at least a pitch or two lower in key than any other version included on the 'U.S. Remastered CD Version' of the debut album, or the version included on 'Clash On Broadway" CD box Set. Have a listen and compare the two, if you can. I don't know which version (the faster or slower) is the one that was released on the original 7" Single, however.
Other than that, the music, remastering, and packaging are all fantastic.
With that said, I was intrigued by the fact that Mick Jones said this was the last time he was messing with Clash material, which made perfect sense to me. While most of the albums were recorded well, they didn't need to be, and there is only so much more "new" sound to extract from the tapes or hiss to clean up.
So you have all the studio albums bundled together nicely in Paul Simonon designed packaging with plenty of bits and bobs and reading materials with the music definitively remastered by Mick Jones.
It is a box set done right. Even in this vinyl obsessed world we currently live in (which, I am all for, by the way, as I've made my living selling vintage vinyl for the past 15 years) I am very impressed with this CD box set and can recommend it to others who may be on the fence.

Eine Textzeile der Sex Pistols ist da hilfreich: "Don't Know What I Want, But I Know How To Get It."
Was noch?
The Clash waren schon immer näher an den Fans dran.
