The previous version (e10S) was better for me but I lost and replaced with the E10C's. First off, the sound is fantastic on all the E10 series, so if that's all you need then go for it. You can also save 10$ and get the version w\o a mic.
Issues with the 10S. 1. why not have a straight headphone jack!? The angle causes it to unplug when sliding the phone into my pocket. 2. Instructions would be nice, ie, what is the adapter for and where did the switch go from the previous model? I didn't see any on line either. 3. The plug is a little different (the space between the connections on the plug is a little wider), for some reason this plug causes my phone to loose connection and auto pause when it wiggles, which is often if it's in your pocket. I can use the mysterious adapter and it seems to be ok, but this makes the form factor really awkward with this long plug now sticking out of the jack. This also causes strain on the headphone jack, and smart phone repairs aren't really an option. 4. If volume control almost never works on Android phones, why the heck put them on the phone? it makes the control/mic that much longer and heavier. Just silly marketing.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The E10S was a better model. I'd have ordered a replacement 10S to my lost pair of 10S's by default, but since they are no longer made I'm stuck with red or gold, yuck. I may suck it up and go with a gold pair anyhow.
Also, I mostly hear music at work through my work DELL laptop and sound is good. But must admit that the sound GREATLY opens up on my home desktop that has a good sound card. Initially I did doubt as it didnt sound that much better than my iPhone earbuds. Source definitely matters!
I havent really tried any of the volume, etc buttons and used only once for receiving a phone call. Worked well enough, no complaints. Giving 4 stars as it is very good but not excellent for the 50 bucks I paid for it.
Decided on these over Byron Beyerdynamics.
Well, to be brief, I compared with Samsung stock and much older AKG K312p (which have the issue they do not have a microphone).
Ergonomics
Samsung 4* Easy fit, soft tips, never fall out
E10C 3* The mid size, big holes were best of the lot, still a bit irritating
AKG 5* Without cushions they sit well in ear, not having to stick inside like cork, not tiring
Praise for the E10C braided cable, for being totally tangle free.
Sound
Samsung 1.5* Quite clear, but lacks bass and smoothness. Sounds small
E10C 2.0* More bass than Samsung, a little bit muffled in mid, overall better but still sounds small
AKG 3.5* Lots of sound, bass, clarity, overall pleasure. Plays louder
On E10C I note that if you stick in deeper (ouch after some minutes), bass is more full, but towards a more muffled result. Does not get bigger.
Maybe if it runs a few hours, sound will improve. I do not expect much though.
E10C have a high impedance of 46, which might not be very effective on small sources like tablets. But still, if you want to connect to computer or home theater, you really would select these? Or carry a portable amp around?
I wouldn't compare any of the above with my large expensive Sennheisers, but still AKG are somewhere nearer.
I often wonder how a stick-in headphone of small diameter can compete with a bud type of almost double diameter. And I wonder why there are no quality earbuds of this type with microphone.
Expected them to at least match the AKGs, so I have good earbuds with microphone. They don't by a mile.
So, I 'll use them for calling instead of Samsungs and keep tagging both along.

My one minor gripe:
They come with a large variety of earbud tips, but I found it difficult to find a set that not only felt comfortable, but also were firmly situated in my ear. Ultimately, I found the smallest ones to be the most capable in keeping these things in my ears. Perhaps the rubber itself has too smooth (and slippery) of a texture?
The sound is incredible. For $50, I wasn't really expecting much, especially from a company I've never heard of. The volume control and microphone feel sturdy and overall, I'm pleased.

But if you are looking for a loud earphones then it may disappoint you
I am using 3 devices
1. iPhone
2.oneplus 6
3.Mi5
Works best with an iPhone (loud and clear and good bass)
Oneplus6 - (clear , bass is satisfactory but not that loud)
MI5 -( clear , bass is good and the loudness is perfect)
Would not recommend for oneplus6 as because the device has a low audio output as compared to other devices
But if u are looking for a smoother listening experience and can comprise on the loudness then go for it .
Do tell me if my review was helpful :)

Before this Sennheiser CX275 used to be my favourite, after i lost it i keep searching for a better one as it had so low bass, i tried Sony XB50AP, Onemore Triple driver , Boat 225, JBL & couple of others but finaly liked this one...
Build Quality - 5/5
Superb quality with a shiny rubberised material which is impossible to tangle & strong enough to last long
Treble & Clarity - 5/5
I'm in love with the treble of this earphone, you can differentciate each & every instrument playing along with the song & the clarity is just awesome, the sound is so natural that you can actualy listen the difference of a tabla & drum
Vocal - 4/5
Vocals aren't as good as sennheiser but its not bad either
Bass - 3.5/5
Bass lovers will surely be dissapointed, however i love the kind of bass it has, it doesn't have that boom boom bass, but has that punchy bass
Overall - 4.5/5
Hope it helped you ...

The sound and build quality has been consistently good, my first pair even survived a session in the washing machine and came out working fine. I highly recommend these earphones.

The SoundMAGIC E10C came out near the top of my tests and really offer decent sound. They are however let down by their cheap and thin tips. They come with additional tips of various sizes but they're all cheap and thin and don't hold shape in the ear which means sound is lost and therefore don't sound great.
If I cover my ears when wearing them, they sound much better so with some better tips that fit more snuggly in the ear and hold shape I feel that these would be much better.
At the price these are at they should have better quality tips. Spending £40 only to need to go out and buy higher-quality tips is pretty crazy. Also, the cable has no shielding or protection so I can see them breaking fairly quickly and getting interference more easily than others.
I also got some 1MORE Piston Classic earphones which look very similar to these and are half the price. They also have great audio quality but have better quality tips so I've ranked them higher than these.

Build quality is my only slight criticism. They don't feel the most robust but so far I have had no problems.
Overall, these are great headphones.
