The best SoundPEATS I have yet had.

I have a bluetooth headphone problem: I have been on the quest for the perfect set. The SoundPEATS Q1's I got in January 2016 were close, but they only had 4 hour battery life. The LG HBS-700 and LG HBS-800 aren't as comfortable and have awkward controls. The Jabra Halo Smart are almost perfect: 17 hour battery, great sound, OK hand controls, comfortable in ears, great handsfree, but they rolled off my neck backwards all the time. They are too stiff and too big. The SoundPEATS Q900 was close. So close. 10 hours life. Can work out in them. Comfortable. Better in every way than the LG sets, except they are so bass heavy. Like Beats. OK for TV, Audio books, and bass heavy music, but not great on acoustic or Brass. Still, they were my go-to, till the Q1000 arrived. The Q900's have been demoted. They have every good thing the Q900's have (except maybe worst hand controls), and they sound terrific. So much presence. So little added distortion in the lower range. Halsey sounds great, and so does Chicago. The hoop could be slightly larger: I have an 18" neck. But they fade out of my mind till I need them. I ahve not tested them as a handfree yet: I am assuming based off the Q900's that they will be good. We will see.

SoundPEATS Q1000 is the latest SoundPEATS headphones I purchased. I have a pair of SoundPEATS Q900's and LOVE them decided to buy the Q1000. I really like the description and specs for the Q1000 since it said smaller and lighter.

1) I will start with price, they are very affordable headphones and that is why I love almost all SoundPEATS headphones I have tried. In general, great headphones, great pricing and these are no exception. You pay a BIG premium for other brands with little to no difference in many cases or even worse quality.
2) Size, the Q1000 are much smaller than the Q900's pretty much, exactly as described. Really like the small size.
3) Weight, these headphones are the lightest band headphones and one of the lightest pairs I've ever owned!! Super light headphones, great for running, cycling, etc.
4) The battery life is good, around 5 hours of actual play time where the Q900 is outstanding at a true 9-10 hours of playing music.
5) The range is not quite as good as the Q900. Again good, but the Q900 is better.
6) Control buttons are simple since 1 to pause/play then a up/down used for both volume and also changing tracks (long press). Again, prefer the Q900 since two dedicated sets of controls, one for volume up/down, one for track up/down

In summary, I do like the Q1000's hence my 4 star rating, and they are great if you're active (running, gym, cycling, etc.) due to super small size and super light weight. The Q900's remain my top SoundPEATS headphones for everyday use due to sound quality and battery life as I LOVE them. The Q16 true wireless headphones are also great! Either way, if you buy the SoundPEATS at their great prices, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you are a reasonable person. Lastly, their customer service is outstanding as I had a problem with one order and they contacted me and took care of it immediately which is great! Most companies with affordable products have very terrible customer service, but not SoundPEATS, they stand behind their products which is a big deal to me.

Audio cuts out periodically

When they work correctly the sound is great - But - the audio cuts out every now & then. A couple of times I got the "can't find device" message, while I was holding the device about two feet away.

I like to use it while I'm walking for exercise or mowing the lawn. I'm using it with an LG G5 phone. If you get close to metal ( my pickup or car or garage door ) it cuts in and out like crazy. If my phone isn't situated just right in my pocket, it cuts in and out. I've tried it with my phone in a shirt pocket and still got the problem.

Too late to send them back - another one for the Grandkids.

Just the fact that they are voluntarily stepping to support their product deserves another half-star. So I'll ad a star for now. They say they will ship another set for me to try. If it works good - I'll up it to 5 stars, If not, I'll give them a Big A for effort and they know they have some product issues to work out.

More to come . . . .

FINAL UPDATE -- I'll stick with the four stars because the company stepped up to try and make this better. They sent me another headset, but it was the Q900. Through emails, we chatted and I said they could do that. Unfortunately, the Q900 acts the same way as the Q1000 did.
As I'm walking, the audio cuts out and in regularly.

Since I have access to such equipment I decided to check the bluetooth signal strength on all the devices. Normally, for bluetooth, any signal -60db or less is good. Both the LG5 phones we are working with gave us a -55db signal strength. The Q1000 gave us a -56db and the Q900 gave us a -58db signal.

So, while all the devices were in the "good" rating (-60db or less), they were all at the low end of "Good". I noticed that many of the good reviews came from iPhone users. Perhaps the iPhone has a better bluetooth signal than the LG phones.

For now - I'm staying at four stars because the company tried to make it better. They just need to work some additional on their products to make them better.

I bought this headphone aa my primary gym gear. And it has not disappointed me at all! The sound is crisp and perfectly loud for the size of the driver on the ear buds.

The fit is snug and the device itself is feather light. Once around your neck, you will actually not feel any weight.

I bought these after a lot of research and keeping in mind that these cost half compared to the other brands, it definitely gives them a really stiff competition! Great job done with the Q1000 SoundPeats!

Last, as always, perfect next day delivery by Amazon. Thank you for that.

If you are thinking about buying a decent set of wireless headphone, especially ones that are water/sweat resistant and sound as good for getting you into your zone while working out or for just some personal time - these are it. Buy them!

Update after a month of use!
Now the sound is great. No problems there. However, the product is not really sweat proof. And the build is a little less than desirable. The LED indicator stopped working and the mic is also not working.

I wrote to SoundPeats customer support and the company taking care of the after sales service in India aren’t particularly helpful. They asked me to courier the product to them and wait for a replacement. I asked them to send me a replacement through any local representative in Delhi and pick up the product. But they did not agree to that. I am not willing to spend additional money on courier and so forth. So now am stuck with just a pair of Bluetooth Earphones.

All in all the product is ok. I mean for the price. I’d say if you can spend a little more. Then go for a better brand!

My second Soundpeats Bluetooth Headset. People must understand one thing, that the reviews in the AMAZON.IN for Soundpeats are not the best and genuine reviews because the product is an imported product. I decided to buy this headset after reading few reviews in the Amazon.com and Youtube Videos. Oh yes, this is an imported headset which is available for less than 2000 Rs. Noise Cancellation is decent, It has a very good bass, treble and clarity. Battery Backup is 10 hours for listening music and speaking calls, although the box says 5 hours. Pairing is very easy and quick. Yes, it is Qualcomm's aptX HD Enabled (Google it). On my 10 days usage, I didn't find anything wrong with this headset. This headset is way better than Samsung, Jabra, Skullcandy, TAGG headset available more than this price range.

is a very good headset but it's stopped functioning completely after 3 months. also, it is not really as sweat-resistant as they claim it to be, it functions erratically halfway through my workout or run once sweat's dripped on to it. waiting to hear back from seller regarding warranty/repairs/replacement.

Good sound quality, but as a hand free for mobile then it does not have very good mic. since it does not seem to have good background noise cancellation. Ok if you are speaking in a closed room or in a silent background area, but not good if you are out side in a noisy area-the listener on the other end complaints of lot of disturbance in audio.

After using it for over one year this is my review.

Sound- headphone sounds good not to much loud nor flat. Base is perfect and feels good.

Noise cancellation- not active noise cancellation. Dose the job but not perfectly.

Value for money- it performed more that what i expected the main reason i wanted a Bluetooth headphone is for riding. It is little bit waterproof but i didn't tested it that hard. Its still working wire is worn off but still working great. Now i use it in my home.
