I agree with the other recent reviews. I used to swear by this product and recommend it to all my friends and family. In fact, I would buy extra bottles so I could pass it on to my friends. But lately it doesn't seem to be as effective as before. I will continue to use it until I find something better, but my conviction has weakened and I'm fine keeping it to myself unless they decide to bring back the original formula. This is frustrating.

Update: I didn't give up on the product and it seems to be back to the product I loved. The tablets stink, and they are pretty big, so if that bothers you, I would definitely go with capsules (the difference is with the capsules you take 6 at a time and with the tablets you take 3 at a time, but the capsules do not smell or taste and the tablets smell and taste terrible). But I am a diehard fan of the Wellness Formula and their Herbal Throat spray. I begin taking Wellness at the recommended dosage as soon as I feel something coming on and it almost always goes completely away within a few hours while people around me are getting sick. I rarely get sick. They even have a liquid Wellness Formula with a dropper that I gave to my kids when they were little and couldn't swallow pills. They never minded it at all, it tastes a little like honey. Upgrading from 3 to 5 stars.

Every year when the flu starts flying and people are hacking all over you everywhere you go, take these. They boost the immune system perfectly. I don't take antibiotics so I have a good immune system already, but some germs,are determined! And some people are determined to share them.. I take these at the first sign of a scratchy throat or sniffle and it's gone in a couple hours.

I discovered these tablets last fall when I was searching for something else! So glad I found these. I read some of the reviews and someone mentioned having to take 6 at one time. This may have been for the capsules, but I'm going to tell you what the directions say for the tablets. First of all, I take just one tablet daily for maintenance. It has so much good stuff in it, I'm happy to take it daily. On the back of the bottle, under SUGGESTED USE it says: For best results, begin taking WELLNESS FORMULA tablets at the very first signs of imbalances in your well-being. During imbalance, take 3 tablets every 3 hours. For wellness maintenance, take 1-2 tablets daily.
So, you don't have to take 3 every day - only at the first signs of sickness. I have done this numerous times and I can honestly say it works. I can start feeling stuffy or have a tickle in my throat and begin taking the recommended 3 every 3 hours and the symptoms disappear. But you truly need to begin taking them at the first sign of symptoms and keep taking them for at least a day or two. This is key. And again, I take one daily just for good measure. It's been a GREAT product for me and I highly recommend it. I also buy the Source Naturals Wellness Herbal Resistance Liquid to give to my kids when they start feeling sick. Also highly recommend as it has many of the same ingredients, but in an easy to take liquid.

Good product, but they took out Metabolic C and lessened some ingredients

I take this when I have allergies and it seems to help. However I noticed with the latest bottle that the ingredients have changed. I feel like I have to take more of it before I start to feel better. The biggest thing I notice is no more "Metabolic C," it looks like they now sell it as a separate item. The tablets themselves are smaller, so therefore a bit easier to swallow. The old bottle had a white cap, new one has a green cap. Here are the changes, hope this helps someone.

If I had one product to recommend someone this would be it. Wellness formula has worked so well I have not been sick in over 10 years. When I start to feel like a cold starting to come on or symptoms of the flu I’ll take three tablets every four hours and it boosts the immune system and knocks out whatever it is that’s try to take over in my body. A lot of times I’d be the only one at work who didn’t get sick With the cold or flu. Everything I’ve used my life this is the best product that I would recommend to everyone. They even made a formula for children. It’s well worth the money.
